Yet more fantastic photos! Out of interest where did you take that one? I'm off to Tokyo later in the week and love the view! How long an exposure was that? Touch of HDR?

Thank you.

No HDR - processed a fair bit, plus the new Sony A7R4 has great dynamic range. It is taken from Cerulean Tower Hotel. Exposure time was 20 seconds

Shibuya crossing with the Huawei:

Then went onward to Fiji - I brought my wife with me as she made so many hints about wanting to come that I thought that a divorce would be far more expensive than the air fare...

The flight on FJ from NRT was fine by way of staff and the food was pretty good. I liked the use of mattress toppers, but less so the fact that my seat had to be put to bed mode manually as it wouldn't do it normally. The seat is weird in that it is slopey in two ways - down hill from your belly backwords and forwards. I barely slept, and when breakfast came the CC member spilled hot chocolate down me. No burns and at least I had recycled my QR pyjamas. Just one of those things.

Fiji appears to be beautiful, but we arrived to very British weather, so my real camera hasn't left our room at the Sofitel resort...

A few from the exclusive adults only resort of LikuLiku, off Nadi. It is perfect, but really very expensive - deluxe bures are £1000 a night for a couple and includes lunch, dinner and breakfast plus tea and cafetière coffee. Everything else is extra. We stayed for one night, spending the other 5 nights of our trip at the Sofitel resort. Standard of food is very high indeed. I find the Fijians friendly without it ever being fake.

remainder with FE 24 - 70 GM

What a great thread, can’t believe I’ve only just found it! There’s some brilliant shots here - I wish I could take some half as good! I’ll certainly be following from now on in the hope of picking up some tips.

It might not be for such professionals but I always enjoy looking at travel shots on Instagram. Do any of you post your travels there too? It’d be great following some people I feel like I know from here :-)

Nice - I went for the long exposure option instead. Done a few others since (Kyoto and Hiroshima after) but still editing them.

Also I know this is a BA thread, but I flew ANA F in their new 777-300 product - the size/quality of the IFE screen was stunning!

Went on a Captain Cook Sunset cruise from the Marina close to the Sofitel Fiji Resort. Wasn't expecting much, but the food was pretty good and we got some colour in the sky...

One from the island of Monuriki, Fiji - used in Tom Hanks film Castaway. My wife and I were on a private boat trip and got the island to ourselves for an hour...
