Some from a beautiful Schmalkalden in Thuringer, Germany. Three things that Thuringers do perfectly: Bratwurst, Mustard and chocolate box towns.

I spent 24 hours in the city of Ulm in Baden Württenberg, SW Germany. During the day, I climbed the steps up the inside the spire of the tallest church in the world, Ulm Munster. Quite a view, but also quite a climb, and quite dizzy spell inducing when you descend.

I guess I won't post my pics of Brighton.

Maybe Norway would be better?

Love the pictures people post, inspiration to travel and see the same sites and images live...

Some from Israel last week.

I loved the design of the Koffler particle accelerator building with the Martin S. Kraar observatory on top at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot;

Later, doing the tourist thing at Jaffa Port in Tel Aviv, I tried to capture the lovely water of the harbour in the background with the historic steps in the foreground with the flag for good measure! Had a brilliant time, won't be my last trip to TLV.

Safe and enjoyable travels everyone.

Talking of boats, here’s some in water off Boracay in the Philippines. Taken the day after typhoon Phanfone struck the island.

Some from my recent trip to India (BA to Delhi then low cost carriers to do DEL-PNQ-HYD-BLR-DEL) Obvious highlight was seeing the Taj Mahal.

Framed in the entrance to the grounds:

What a stunning wonder of our world.

Looking back at the gardens in front of the Taj

As sunset approached.

Separately, (and hopefully not too controversially, given some of the other Hindi writings on the truck), during the trip back to Delhi, we laughed about the humour on the back of this truck...the peacock is the national bird but here on the bottom of this truck the Hindi saying is to give the advice 'don't smile at her' (as it would lead to a conversation and then getting together culminating in her getting pregnant! So be warned! )

Although this was taken on IndiGo airline flight to Pune, I just couldn't believe the air quality levels in Delhi that morning (the AQI was over 330)...I was glad to be leaving for a few days given how terrible the air quality was as seen through the window.

No comment! (the cabin crew did indeed KWIA) (a metal case with cashews as the snack onboard).

Safe travels everyone. Love the pictures people share on here.
