Photographs from your BA travels

As some will know from my derailing of Top 10 irritations for crew, I am a keen photographer and because my work takes me around the world, I always drag at least 1, sometimes 3 cameras plus lots of lenses with me.

What about your travels? Take many photographs? I know that some of you are as i know there is at least one D800 owner here

Here are a few of mine:

From Tokyo:

To insert your photographs direct from flickr, copy and paste the BBcode into the text box here.

Am flying to Taipei this evening via Hong Kong so may get some interesting photos.....

Let's see some of yours!

Edited to add, please keep your longest side down to a maximum of 1024 pixels as otherwise it throws out the width of the forum and if someone is using a mobile device they will use lots of data. Thank You ^

I used to take loads of photographs but I was put off somewhat when someone reviewed my photos and said my efforts didnt have enough tonal variation and content!, I have posted on the Travel photography on occasion.
I traded down from a Nikon bridge camera to a Panasonic because of the purple edges at extreme zoom and dont usually take a camera on holiday anymore.

Well the intention of this thread isn't for criticism, just to share There are plenty of websites for constructive criticism.

The purple fringing you're talking about is called chromatic abberation and is generally easily adjusted in post processing software either in an automatic fashion on certain software or by reducing the saturation of the blue channel. CA is very common in superzooms as it is created by the amount of elements in the lens.

Here's another one of mine this time from Sydney nearly 2 years ago:

You'll need to edit it a bit more angeloedades....it's far too wide for my screen.

If you keep it to 1024 on the longest length it will be large enough to see well and will fit in nicely

I take photos but am not a photographer.

One of the ones that I am pleased with shows the amount of light in a 777 CW cabin at night time.

It may not be the technically best photo in the world but I like it!

I also like the one of the CW and WT+ carpets!

Is that carpet on the right full of speckles or is it just camera noise?
