It may be, but I can't understand why Avios would want to delay applications. Don't Lloyds TSB pay for the additional Avois they have to give away? And if Lloyds TSB have decided they are giving too much away wouldn't they just end the promotion early and have Avios pull the page?

It is indeed very fishy.

When it was working, the link opened a popup window with the application form which from the styling looked like content being served from the Lloyds website.

The popup isn't opening any more so I would speculate it is an Avios "problem" rather than Lloyds, because otherwise the popup would still be opening at least.

Guys,

Is it definitely the case that the 2-4-1 voucher (triggered at £15k spend) - can ONLY be used for ECONOMY bookings on BA with Avios??

If so its of no use to me unfortunately

The application form from Avios.com to the Lloyds website has been fixed now! Got my application in before the rush

Worked for me on Safari and hasn't worked before so keep trying

Put in my application, but unless the card arrives on or before Christmas Eve it's not really much use to me. I'm expecting to be declined though based on what I've read here as my credit history is perfect and I always pay off my balance in full.
