I got 5000 bonus points for £2500 spend in November on my Amex Gold.

I also got a separate Mr Porter/net-a-porter (can't remember which one) email but seem to have deleted it

3. Yes, agreed, and sooner rather than later
Thanks Raffles. Regarding 2, I may risk some. I presume some people have noticed the difference in the T&C for Plat vs. Gold on Amex Refer vs. Quidco sites? What I gather is:

Plat Refer: No Amex (although note your exception)
Gold Refer: No MR Amex within last 6 months
Plat & Gold Quidco: No restrictions for bonus (apparently)

Just got home to a glossy plat brochure. Lists cx gold as a benefit and no mention of it being for one year only

Apols if posted before or if I've missed something

Lots of complaints about this when it was first released. Marketing lies and poor communication which Amex didn't accept when lots of people complained and avoided answering the complaints properly.

is it the same one then? I assumed this was new?

I have had plat for about 4 months now, and this one adds in LeClub Platinum which I didn't think was a published benefit when it all kicked off about CX Gold last time?

Nothing for me (Amex Gold). Wonder if it's targeted to some people only.

I'm opted into all marketing preferences (I got the festive offer for 500 points last week or so)

That was added in the recent changes. Stayed at the T5 Sofitel on Friday night and got an upgrade for that card, followed by another one for using my Amex Plat card to do the pre-auth. Not that we saw much of the room having checked in at 11pm ahead of an 8am flight, looked nice enough though

So if the brochure is new then is it not the confirmation that CX gold is permanent ?

Or shows they don't listen to their customers. One of the two. Hmmm......

The brochure I received originally had Accor listed anyway, so it's probably the same one.

Does it say on the front "it's no longer about going up in the world It's about taking a different path"

Received the same brochure today. (can't understand why they would spend so much on what delivers so little!)

I also received an email stating that if I spend £1000 I will get 2000 bonus points. Judging by other posts it seems that this offer is randomly structured!

Haven't had the new brochure, but the last one didn't have the Hilton Hhonors Gold listed in it - is it in this one?

No..........and yes
The general blurb refers to "in addition to Hilton and Starwood", but then for some reason Hilton doesn't feature on the hotels page, which lists Starwood, Carlson and le Accor
Bizarre.
