Now that we know which flight the England Squad are on....and roughly where it is.
Lets do the BA FT England Predictions game...
Me...well I am going for finish second in the group ( USA could provide a shock) and then an early exit in the second round.
One of the most uninspiring England squads in years. Left good players behind and taken some rubbish with them.
At least the media are not doing the whole " Best chance in a generation thing"
Spain to win the whole thing

Should have taken Johnson instead of SWP. Carrick is poor, on balance Bent should have gone instead of Heskey and Zamora instead of Crouch. Not convinced about Upson either, Dawson or Wes Brown might've been a better bet. Like taking Warnock instead of Baines though. Hart must start in goal though, very impressive.
Rooney
Cole Gerrard Milner
Barry Lampard
Cole Ferdinand Terry Johnson
Hart
is up there with the better teams at the world cup. Problems? Injuries, lack of confidence, tactical naivety, poor at taking penalties, nerves, excessive expectations...

Don't really rate Barry, would have taken Parker instead. If I was any of England's opponents would be attacking down the England right...Johnson is great going forward but not great at defending.

Ok, since we have to have a thread on it, let's discuss the only thing of interest in the World Cup.
Who has the cutest team this year? Any teams I should be looking at? No Beckham and Shrek present means it certainly isn't England!

World Cup 2006, I was in Munich and had a great time. I remember English supporters to be very thirsty but friendly It was a warm summer, this time it's winter with rain and cold winds

Three matches a day on TV...it is going to be pure bliss
Will be great to see one of the African teams do well.
