Is there an easy/quick/cheap way to get a minimal amount of miles into a M&M account that would get me a PIN for my account and allow me to check myself?

Thanks

Thanks to both of you.

Signed up for jetfriends and will restart my expertflyer membership for a month while I wait, I have already done a few free trials.

Don't think F is worth it on a short overnight trip and LH J is available if LX does not come available

One further question:

What happens, if I cancel a redemption? Will the amount of cash being paid for fees and charges transfered back to my bank account automatically? Do I have to pay a "cancellation fee" or something similar?

Thanks in advance!

Ok, thanks very much so far.

But there is still one question left:
I would like to book a flight on LHR-EDI in April. Since there will be no more business class in April, I 'm asking myself what would happen if I reedem my miles on a business class ticket
And what about the booking class "I" for business awards? Will it still be existent in the future?

Once again, thanks in advance!

See the FAQ on the bmi site which has a section on reward bookings under the new regime.

Europe (Zone 2) to Tokyo

I am planning to book a one way redemption in Business for 2 adults on PRG - NRT using Diamond Club miles. My desired travel date is December 25 +/- 1 day and this is not openable for booking via the ICC yet. However in the past few week I have started using the ANA tool and M&M (for Swiss) to check availability from November up to early December in order to get an idea of the number of award seats released on this route.

Ideally I would like to take ANA (PRG - FRA - NRT) but it seems that ANA ex-FRA only has 1 business seat available for each flight. My second choice is Swiss (PRG - ZRH - NRT), but based on what I saw on M&M, Swiss only open up awards booking up to 300 days - which means I need to wait until end Feb to make a redemption with them. I also noticed that there is never a seat available for Saturdays departure for ZRH - NRT (my desired travel date - 25/12 is a Saturday!). Does anyone know anything about this?

Would be grateful if I can get some ideas from you guys who are more familiar with Diamond Club redemption. Is it too early to book the flight, or shall I wait a little longer and hope that ANA or Swiss will open up more seats? What are the other possibilities for Europe (Zone 2) - Tokyo redemption? I flew SK once, they are OK but I don't think I will be in hurry to fly with them anytime soon.

Many Thanks in advance

SWISS availability BKK to BHX/MAN feb

Hi

I was hoping someone might be able to check availability on SWISS between BKK and MAN/BHX between Feb 15th and Feb 25th. Looking for 2 x business seats.

Recognise that this is pretty last minute so not overly hopeful.

Many thanks in advance.

Nope, nothing on any day for either route, I'm afraid.

I wonder if someone could tell me if this itinerary is acceptable as a single redemption or if as I believe is stretching the rules too far:

LON-SAT (could be via IAH, IAD, ORD,..) on 21/04
SAT-LAS (Via IAH, CLT,....) on 25/04
LAS-SAT 29/04
SAT-LON 03/05

If this is valid routing then what sort of tax will I be looking at for a Y redemption?

Cheers

The routing should be fine, however, you will need to book this as two oneway journeys, as you're stopping over twice.

SAT-CLT-LAS will however likely be considered as backtracking, but you'd transfer in PHX.
Taxes should be sth. like 240GBP

I'd much appreciate somebody checking LX C availability for me as follows:

14-19/4 LAX or SFO - LHR

19 or 20/4 BKK-LHR

Many thanks, SF
