Really poor availability by Swiss standards I'm afraid,

LAX 1 seat on the 19th
SFO doesn't start until June

BKK 1 seat in First on the 19th

Recognise that this is pretty last minute so not overly hopeful.

Many thanks in advance.

There are currently 2 seats on the 15th, nothing after.

Unfortunately I am now committed in Melbourne until morning of Feb 16th so would be unable to make it up to BKK to take the flight on the 15th! Hopefully something might come up a few days later.

Thank you for your help.

Thx, I'll check it out with ICC this morning. However, my ultimate destination is GLA or EDI so I might be better to use LH via SEA and FRA which is available.

Bit of a long winded one, but I am trying to learn the system for myself.

Dep: DUB/LGW/LHR/FRA

Arr: MCO

Class: C

Not too concerned about dates, just trying to find availability, what airlines and costings.

Couple of other questions, is this using the KVStool? Is this the miles and cash way? Is this only using the ANA FFP, on Star Alliance or can I add VS?

Cheers,

Main sticky will help

For routings and costings use ITA matrix.itasoftware.com you can create an account for free

For availability the Sticky is your friend

Miles and cash is always possible with the exception of First Class on Lufthansa which probably isn't worth the premuim premuim anyway IMHO

Does anyone ever get C on AC LHR-YYZ? Or is this one of those urban myths. Also whats the story with VS? Is there ever redemption on those flights? LGW-MCO

Yes they do, as a search of the "Successful Redemptions Threads" would show. However no one will tell you it's easy.

Thanks, but I've been a Diamond Club member for 18 years, so I had more than enough knowledge about how it all worked long before I found flyertalk; and if my pointing you in the direction of the threads mostly likely to prove that getting seats on a particular route isn't an "urban myth" somehow upset you? Don't worry, I won't do it again.

One C seat on LHR-YYZ is not that difficult if done reasonably far ahead in my experience, and if not concerned particularly about which flight. Coming back the day flight tends to be available last.

Getting 2 C seats though is much more difficult - flights via YOW, YUL or YHZ are alternatives worth checking for this though. Booked 2 C seats YYZ-YOW-LHR recently for mid-June.

We (two people) did LHR-YYZ earlier this month. We booked it some months in advance and at that time there were two C seats available on most flights. Availability on onward flights within N America was more limited and we had to accept one seat in Y (which was upgraded on the day of travel in the YYZ lounge).

Obviously, though, what was true for a weekday in mid-January cannot be assumed to apply to peak travel periods.

When I booked there was only one other day that had 2 C seats available in the last two weeks in June, which was via YUL.

Many thanks in advance folks!
