Do you think this will work:

CMB-SIN-ICN-CEB as an Intra-Z7?

Any other routing possibility is CMB-BKK-ICN-CEB...

ICN(Seoul Incehon) is not Z7, itīs Z8.
So answer is, no.

very much doubt a routing via HKG would be allowed otherwise ok on a direct LHR-SIN, there is good availability on SQ by ringing up only whereas NZ is very difficult LHR-HKG anyway, in J I assume!

Unsure about connecting in zone 1?

Could anyone help?

Flying NRT - BKK (stopover) - LHR (break overnight, as no flight available same day) - LIS.

Is this route allowed as a zone 8 - 2?

Unsure about connecting in zone 1, when flying Zone 8 to Zone 2. Is the 7,500 extra miles applies and if so per connection, or is that a return figure?

Regards

routing should be ok as 8-2
in 1 ensure that the stop is<24 hours and no extra charge, not sure of your final destination but don't forget the new LIS-MAN flight

If you mean Yuzhno near Chelyabinsk, this would be a huge backtrack so no chance. ICC likely to enforce much more direct routes.

I meant Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (UUS)... which is much closer to Seoul than any other connection point I can see...

the routings on staralliance.com indeed show the routes as via ICN
be interesting to know if you get this as a zone 1-zone 2
In this instance I would be tempted to ask for LHR to UUS and see what the ICC offer and take it from there
and if no joy HUACA...it would be a bargain even with the visa costs

Diamond Club confirm this is zone 1 to 2 and quote a routing of LHR - HKG - ICN - UUS! Quoted miles 20250 in Biz one way although I couldn't quite see how that was calculated...

12,000 + 7,500 + 7,500 = 27,000 (the 7,500s are the z1/2 connection charge)
/ 2 = 13,500 (one-way)
x 1.5 = 20,250 (business class)

Going all the way to HKG in a z1-z2 is a new one on me, though!

FRA-EZE via JNB?

Hello! I am trying to book Frankfurt to Buenos Aires and just noticed that Johannesburg (on SAA) would make a nice routing. Would DC be okay with this? Thanks, Martin

Historically, some have said yes, but I tried in Jan and HUACed and got a very firm no on three occasions when there was availability on SAA via JNB but not on the direct LH. Then tried IST-JNB-EZE and no again. Yet via IAH is fine!
So no harm in trying...let us know

Would this work? LHR-EWR(stop)-SIN (Z1-Z8 via Z3).

ual.com shows it as a valid route.

Want some advice if I may;

Trying to get from SYD -AKL - LHR with the cheapest possible taxes, as a result I have come up with this;

AKL - PVG - IST - LHR

Only reason via PVG cause NZ do not charge YQ out of AKL and TK's YQ is really cheap to IST......now for my question...because I am doing a 4 hour layover in IST will it cost me more miles to connect onto LHR instead of the normal 35,750?

If anyone can recommend another airline with low YQ please do share.
