VIP Arrival/Fast Track Service & Priority Immigration at SGN
I have seen ads for VIP Arrival /Fast Track arrival at several airports and offered by some hotels. Has anyone used /can recommend a service at SGN ? I already have my visa and will be transferring over to the Domestic terminal with plenty of time to transfer - just would like to expedite the international immigration process. Thanks for any info.

Most people use the fast track for when they do not have a visa, and are queuing in the VOA lines. If you have your visa already, you're probably only saving yourself 10 minutes. I have not used one, can't recommend one in particular, but if you do use one, then be sure they will actually get you into the immigration fast track lane, not just help you with the visa.

The only time I would even consider this is in SGN for Tet week, otherwise just a way for local agents to rob you blind. You would also not be too popular with fellow travelers!

Thought Id share an update as I read this with interest prior to my arrival on Tuesday August 13th arriving at 4:15pm. I decided to book the fast track and was glad I did.
The immigration queue snaked around and then passengers were being put in 10 different counter lines each with approx 20 passengers.Fast track passengers were put in a queue saying Wheelchair even though wheelchairs were in a separate queue. Anyway, it took about 20 minutes to get through and bags were already on the carousel when I went downstairs. My wife experienced similar the following day arriving at 12:45pm albeit with a few logistical issues as detailed below. For me though fast track arrival was well worth the money.
Just a couple of points to be aware of. If you are flying in Business class and arriving at a bus gate, you will have a separate bus completely separate from the other passengers. When my family arrived, the rep was not yet at the immigration hall with their name card as he presumably wasn't expecting them to arrive so quickly from the plane and they joined the huge queue. Luckily, I liaised with their admin and eventually my family found him although they treid to claim he was there all along. The way around this though is to keep in contact with the admin via whatsapp and message them when you arrive and then once you are on the bus. Also, if you are in business class emphasise this otherwise the rep will think you are in economy. I also kind of got the impression that people who knew what they were doing were also getting let into the fast track queue on arrival
Also, when leaving, I was considering purchasing the service again but baulked at the $65 they wanted per person. Double the arrival charge. I explained that we had business class tickets, and maybe this service would offer no advantage. The company were quite vague and noncommittal in their answers. So, in the end we didnt book it. As it was, the departure was even quicker as even though the main immigration and security queues were snaking around the block, my family sailed through fast track immigration and security with business class tickets at 10pm on a Saturday evening. It was similar on Monday morning for me. In 2x arrivals at 16:00 and 12:30 and 2x departures at midnight at 09:30 the main immigration and security lines were consistently very, very long. Whether that is to do with the time of year, Im not sure. Finally, I also saw people trying to gain fast track entry with sky priority status but the guards seemed to not understand that at all. They only wanted to see a ticket with business class on it.

FWIW, there is an unmarked premium cabin immigration line at SGN. It's the rightmost of the ~4 priority lines to the left of the main arrival lines. Went for exiting the a/c to being landside (with checked bags) in under 20 minutes. VN BC ground handling services is very good and highly recommended. In air service isn't too shabby either.

I just came through HCMC business class. I too didn't know there was a fast track line. It was only because I stuffed up my visa and had to pay another $500 to someone waiting at the gate there that they let me through to go to the "business aka wheelchair line". The regular line was excruciatingly long. Paying for a fast pass would be worth it.

I sincerely hope you express the same sentiments the next time you travel somewhere for the first time and pay for an unnecessary fast track service because the premium lines are only for people in the know. If this information was shared more widely it could be a lot more beneficial and helpful. TBH, this could be said about quite a few aspects of modern society.

No...the main line is the same for everyone. AT SGN, there are the main huge immigration lines and then off to the side are the diplomatic, ASEAN and wheel chair lines which are roped off. I believe if you show your business class boarding pass to one of the officials they will let you through and join the 'wheelchair' line. It is not marked though as for business class passengers. Alternatively, you can pay $29 to vietnam-visa and their rep will put you in the line!

Vietnam Airlines business class benefits say that you get immigration priority. I'll test on the way and confirm or deny.

Flying in a week but Vietnam Airlines staff I spoke to in Paris are adamant that Business class flyers get immigration priority line access. That plus the visa waiver should see me land side pretty fast I hope
