Is there any need to get a fast track service at HAN? Will be arriving on a Tuesday mid-day on a SQ flight. Happy to wait for up to 30 minutes but probably not 2 hours like at ICN.
E-visa has been approved.
Assuming priority lane is for VN business class only not other airlines?

US Visitors. LA to Beijing on United Airlines and Beijing to Hanoi on Air China. Want to pay for Fast Pace as don't want to wait. What is most reputable service to use? So many out there on Internet...how do you pick which one that you are giving all your data/funds to? Family of 4.

Are there any data points on how bad the non-fast track lines are for departure immigration in the evening? Have not finalized plans yet, but will likely be flying on JL 70 (11:45pm) departure. I want to think that the regular lines for departures won't be too bad around 9pm, but some posts suggest otherwise. I would appreciate any information on this.
This will be shortly before Lunar New Year, and I know that might be a factor.

Just adding my experience.
Departing SGN. Arrived at airport 7:30am with lots people already.
Was flying Cathay Pacific business. Asked the guard at priority immigration if I could enter and he said no. (Priority immigration had about 10 people in)
Regular immigration extended all the way to the entry point of the line but thankfully only took about 30 minutes.
Security line started immediately by the immigration desks. (Line had snaked around four times before the actual entry point for it)
This took 60minutes to clear. Lots of people trying to cut in which caused some shouting. No staff to manage. Also the room was uncomfortably warm.

Hey all, Im arriving at SGN, J class on VN50 from London, ETA 0610 on a Sunday morning. Im not clear if I get fast track immigration with J ticket (evidence suggests not, but the VN chatbot suggests I do), or whether queues will be big enough at that time of day/week to make paying for the premium arrival service worth it (not that its expensive!).
Im flying out of SGN at 1100 on a Wednesday, in regional Premium Economy to DAD. Is it recommended to pay for fast track?
TIA 👍

My understanding is that J class only gets Fast Track if you are on VN, which you are. We are arriving from SAI at SGN later this month on VN and I booked J for this reason.

Slightly regretting not booking J for the hop to DAD, but might just pony up for the VIP service.

VN ground services well worth it for domestic flights. Even if one is eligible for ST Sky Priority (e.g., check in, priority baggage and lounge), real benefits are priority security and immigration, as well as exclusive transfer to/from a/c if it's a bus gate, and in flight service isn't too bad either.

In any case, you will be arriving on Vietnam Airlines in business class so you are entitled special handling through Vietnamese Immigration, which can take hours in the regular line. Saigons Tan Son Nhat Airport is a very overcrowded place and until the new airport east of the city is built it will remain overcrowded. Most international arrivals get a jetway but if you get parked on the tarmac and must take a bus, it will be to the international arrivals processing area.
After you are in that area, follow the signs and crowd to the immigration queue where you will see multiple immigration lines. Just as you enter this area on your left where you see the Diplomatic and Crew lines indicate to the uniformed immigration officer standing at the rope that you are Business Class (best way is to hold up your boarding pass so he can see it). He will then check your passport and business class boarding pass on Vietnam Airlines.
He will open the rope and direct you to the proper line. Follow his direction even though the line he sends you to may be longer. Once through immigration take the escalator down to baggage claim, get a free cart for your heavier luggage and wheel through the green Nothing to Declare. Here you will enter internal hall with lots of cell phone and transport vendors.

With J-class I was ushered into fast track immigration anyway and I found both times I've been through HAN unproblematic for getting in (getting out was a little slower, but fine). SGN doesn't REALLY have it although, as I said before, you will get moved into a priority line but that doesn't mean fast (5-mins in SGN the first time in November, 45 mins the second time, both faster than the normal lines).
