I just need some pointers :-)

Whatever you do, do NOT go to Boca. Completely NOT worth seeing in any way.

Why? A stroll along Caminito is a pleasant way to spend a little while. I wouldn't wander around La Boca otherwise, or stray from the touristy path there, unless one knows where (s)he is going.

It would be silly not to in my opinion.
I found La Boca one of the highlights of the trip when I first came to Buenos Aires many years ago....don't forget there is quite a bit of history attached to the area.
Yes it's a bit of a tourist trap but so are many other famous touristy areas in cities around the world.

Hey guys, quick question:

If my husband and I are going from EZE to The Plaza (Marriott Plaza, whatever it will be called by late August), and I am in a light wheelchair, what is the best way to get there? It's a very light manual wheelchair, and we will have light luggage. Can we use a remise, or are they super small? Should we try something else? We have had no trouble with cabs in Berlin, Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid, and Rome, and I have had no trouble anywhere in Mexico or the Caribbean, but you never know . . .

Oh, and are they allowed to charge extra for the wheelchair?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Gracias, amigos!

No extra charge for Wheelchair. You can use one of the airport Remise services, Manuel Tienda Leon is a large and established company.

If you want to have a Premium Car Service, then contacto Silver Star Car. Its owned by a NewYorker (Fred) that lives here and he is the best full service limo outfit in town... he even has a Lincoln TownCar if you want to travel just like you would back home. Let me know if you want more details and I will put you in contact with him.

Gracias, Gaucho. I will discuss with the spousal unit, but a taxi seems fine for the moment. I may need the info on the car service for some of the events (not sure how that works, but I'm sure we'll get that info in summer). Best wishes!

Thanks to all for the helpful tips ITT. Is a 2 hour turn sufficient in EZE to arrive from MVD and get on a plane to DFW? Will I have to go enter and exit Arg, customs, bag claim, etc.?

MVD arrives at 20:45, USA flight departs from EZE at 22:45.

Thanks!

Are you travelling on separate tickets?
If so I would forget it.

Also, leaving on LAN biz class. Any line skipping opportunities with that in EZE?

LAN has dedicated premium cabin lines. Not sure that you can get an escort through immigration and security. This is only available if you have the AA2000 VIP Service.

Premium check-in lines, priority boarding lines. For immigration and security, is is "Plan Clase Basura Para Todos." Immigration and security can take (combined) from 10 minutes to an hour, unpredictibly.

Ah yes, plan basura is available in many airports, free of charge. I'm thinking about gambling on the 2 hr turn. Will LAN put me on the AA flight later that night if we miss? Bags definitely have to be retrieved and customs cleared in EZE before transferring planes, right? No chance of tagging to final destination?

LAN doesn't fly EZE/DFW. Are you on an AA codeshare?
