Just as a quick update. I had booked myself at the Wynn via this promotion for March 25-27. Checked in on the Resort Side and was told the best upgrade they could to would be to a "better view" room (my Centurion-carrying father was told the same thing when he checked in on his reservation, which is odd to both of us as my mother/his wife had used the promotion two weekends prior; a busy Vegas weekend, and she was upgraded to the Tower Suites). We opted to pay additional for an upgrade to the Tower Suites. The promotion is a great deal, though it really seems like the Wynn (maybe not Encore, can't speak for them) needs to step up their game when it comes to knowing the terms of a promotion. I found the service, for a 5-star/5-diamond property, to be pretty lackluster, and definitely not "accommodating." Enjoyable stay, but if Wynn does not improve their service for all guests, I see no reason to return to this property.

I was wondering if this offer is only available to guests who have NEVER stayed at the property? I have stayed at the Wynn before but have never stayed at the Encore.

Anyone have any experience with this? I would hate to be charged the nightly rate ($269) when I was told it was free.

Thanks.
I just returned home this morning from the 2 free nights promotion. To answer your question- I have stayed at Encore in January/February and again 3/26 & 3/27 via this promotion so I don't see why it wouldn't apply to you also.

Had a good time and all room and dining credits were applied as they should have been, though i called during check-out for some clarity. During the stay scaffolding damaged some Encore exterior windows under severe wind and the Encore pool was closed. The hotel casino [both Encore and Wynn] was not crowded whatsoever on Wednesday [almost looked deserted] but Thursday & Friday showed signs of more people and activity. Every time I'm at Encore I have to call maintenance for bulb replacement.

We were also there 3/25-3/27 and we weren't upgraded to the Tower Suites. Would have been nice to know there was an option to pay for the upgrade; we should have asked. As for the breakfast and lunch credits, as mentioned elsewhere they were very generous - each time we went over our allotment (but not by more than $20 if I remember correctly) and all the charges were picked up, tips and all.

Even though Encore was fantastic (and all the electronics and shades in the room worked fine), we found the breakfast/lunch options lacking but perhaps we just couldn't locate the restaurants that didn't feel like casino bars that sold food. But we found the Terrace Cafe and The Country Club in the Wynn - both felt like we weren't even in Vegas and the hostess at the country club asked us how we even found them. I recommend them both if you need a break even from the low-key Vegas feel you get from Encore.

This promotion definitely worked for me. I don't see any reason why I'd ever stay anywhere else in Vegas.

Just got back from the promotion. Fantastic experience similar to all the previous reports.

The Resort check-in at Encore is an absolute mess. I didn't get the Tower Suites upgrade, but after waiting in line for half an hour, I said I'd be happy to pay for one. So with the comp, the Tower Suite came out to only $50 per night. Much better experience.

I just got back as well. Resort check-in/out at both Encore and Wynn has always been a mess in my experience (last 3 stays in 6 months). Very disorganized, and its like playing roulette in terms of picking which line to stand in. I always get stuck in the slow one.

My guess is they've been cutting back on hours to save costs. I also noticed that there is no turndown service (I guess you can request it). This was the case at Encore mid-March and at Wynn this past weekend. I don't know the exact qualifications for 5 stars/diamonds, but I suspect automatic turndown service is one of them, so I'm surprised they seem to have dropped it. Bellagio still does it.

I noticed this also since in my other recent stays there turndown service was provided on this recent trip.

I had been given the turndown in the Wynn Tower Suites, both nights of my stay, with no request.

I believe, The Wynn and Encore Resort itself is 4 star's/5 diamonds. However, the Tower Suites portion of each resort is 5 star's/5 diamonds. So that's prob why people in Tower Suites get turn down service while those who stay in the regular side don't. I should clarify Mobil 5 star/AAA 5 Diamond, bcuz some websites will list the hotel as 5 star based on their scale.

Here now at the Encore in the Lobby Bar/Cafe. Tower Suites were all sold out this weekend and we're waiting to get our room assignment. More later.
