Amex personal plat. Have 3 AUs on this one too. Offer was 45k for $4k spend in 3 months. Happy to accept and I wasn’t planning to cancel. Interestingly, the rep told me I had used $659 of credits on the account this year. (Uber, FHR, airline, streaming). I put personal airline spend on this card (for the family) so probably $10k+ a year including award ticket taxes and fees.

First time trying for retention on Amex Gold, offered 20k MR or $150 statement credit for $2k spend within 3 months. Monthly spend anywhere in the $1-2k range.
Not the greatest offer, but better than nothing to try and offset the increasingly devalued Uber credits. I took the points.

Personal platinum renewal fee posted today. I haven't used it much in the last year because I shifted most of my spend to my AA card when they introduced Loyalty Points and let you earn LPs through credit card spending. I was offered 45,000 MR after spending $4,000 in three months. I'm probably going to turn it down—I'm unlikely to travel much in the next 12 months and can't make the numbers work with the non-travel benefits based on how I actually value them. (E.g., I value Uber at the full $200/year as I'd spend that anyway; with most of the others, I'd either not spend it at all or would likely spend less.) I was hoping for some kind of discount on the AF (although I can see that no one seems to get those offers any more). The only annoying thing is working out what to do with the ~80,000 MR points I have left in my account.

I didn't cancel at this point. Yesterday I rang up with the intention of canceling and was instead offered a $400 statement credit for spending $4,000 in three months—so, effectively reducing the AF to $295. I need to decide within the next few days but may just keep this now because I will almost certainly spend $200 on Uber anyway and finding $95 of additional value will be doable.

1st year Biz Gold. Not much additional spend beyond the 10K initial signup bonus spend. Offered $175 statement credit. Really don't see any value in this card so going to cancel anyway.

AF hit two weeks ago. Called up AMEX as this is the first time I am considering canceling the Platinum card with the increased AF plus the new guesting fee to access Centurion lounges.
30K MR for $3K spend in three months is the best they could offer me. Told them I will think it over and let them know of my decision. Avg. spend is $30K/year and I have had the card for 6 years now.
Hopefully when I ring them up in 1-2 weeks they will come up with a better offer.
