    • Google Fi - posted as streaming for some (plat - "GOOGLE *GOOGLE FI G.CO/HELPPAY# CA", pay.google.com, additional information shows "GAMES"); no credit on green (additional information shows "Axxxxxxx SELLER"). Not clear if this was a temporary miscoding since it posted as Wireless for several after May 22. UPDATE: GOOGLE FI still sometimes posts as streaming credit. Worked for me on September 14th 2020. Had already used the $20 wireless credit and paid another $20 go Google FI and it was refunded as streaming credit. My experience is that it works 50% of the time.

I received an email from Amex for my personal Plat confirming the streaming and wireless credits. Nothing about the AmexTravel credit (mine renewed in Jan, so presumably I would get a lump of coal anyway)

Has anyone used Amex Travel before? I've only used FHR for booking hotels. Does AmexTravel also cover hotels?

I am guessing that Amex is offering these extra credits now, since it is probably cheaper for them than offering MR point retention bonses. Between this credit, the wireless credits, the streaming credits, and the airline credit---which is currently sitting with Delta as a travel voucher, I will definitly plan to keep my card for another year.

Of course, the Uber credit is substantially less valuable, since I've been redeeming for Uber Eats, but, I am hoping to resume my regular Uber/Lyft usage in the next 2-3 months.

I've used AmexTravel many times, including this year. That's how you get Insider Fares and that's also how you redeem Membership Rewards points for travel at bonus levels.

Also, there was a mistake fare on AirFrance at one point, and those who booked through AmexTravel (not me) got $1000 Delta vouchers, IIRC.

Is there a way to check to see whether or not I am eligible for this credit?
Will this credit replace the regular $200 airlines credit?
I upgraded my Gold to Platinum on 04/30. Am I eligible for this credit (either now or at my renewal in September)?
Thanks.

Yes, you can book hotels through AMEX Travel (at 5x MR too) and you can book the FHR which has additional benefits for Platinum card members - like resort credits

Yeah, I'm thinking of keeping it....math being (for the remaining of the year - renewal in June):
$550 - $200 Amex Travel credit = $350
- ($20 x 8) = $190 (Streaming service)
- ($15 x 8 + $20) = $59 (Uber Credit)

Then next year, the $200 Airline incidental puts me way over the profit line...unsure if my bundled AT&T Wireless / Internet package will trigger the credit (so that would be even better)

Thanks for the information. Last year I used FHR and paid at checkout with my Hilton Aspire. This year I'll make sure and pay with my Platinum to trigger the bonus, Even if I don't book another flight, I could use that $200 toward 1-2 nights at a hotel and have a nice weekend away.

Did it show on your statement specifically as HBO Max, or perhaps just HBO? Technically, HBO Max hasn't actually launched yet.

I made Google Fi charges on both the Green and Platinum but they didn't post. Asked in the chat and the rep just pasted the terms do me and said Google Fi should be eligible, and that the credits should post in 1-4 weeks. I guess I'll wait until the end of the month to find out. It doesn't hurt charging it to my card(s) in the meantime because I need to pay for them anyway.

My Verizon Wireless and FIOS bundle are on the same bill at $300 / month. But just shows as Verizon*recurring on my Mastercard.

Umm- anyone had this situation - do you have to split your bill (and then lose a discount for the combined)?

Not trying to be negative, but I thought I read somewhere that bundles were not eligible. Splitting your bill probably wouldn't be best, since you may lose the bundle discount and have trouble getting it again. I did some support work for Verizon years ago and, at the time, they were being sticklers about re-enrolling accounts into ONE BILL if the customer chose to separate them. Not sure if that is still the case.

I know anyone can buy stuff from Verizonwireless.com, but you probably don't need 8 pairs of wireless headphones, 1 per month. It may be worth calling Verizon Wireless to see if there is anyway they can post a credit to your account manually if you try to make a one time credit card payment.

Sorry I can't provide more definitive information. Good Luck.

I think it unlikely to post unless they fix it. Others have already seen their wireless credits post. Doubtful that Sprint takes a day and Google Fi 1-4 weeks.

In true AMEX fashion, the T&C say "bundles may not be eligible" - not definitively

Pretty annoying

I read elsewhere that others are looking at making an extra payment on the wireless bill with the AmEx for say $20, then let autobill continue.

You can make additional payment on Verizon website but looks like it just goes to the same OneBill payment. I will call Verizon and see if I can make a manual payment of $20 just against the Wireless portion.
