Travel is booming
It seems the trend looking by these numbers is the bonus's are getting less in less of both frequency and percentage.
I have been waiting for the BA promotion to break but it appears to not be coming these time around.
Hoping for the best!

Transfer bonuses have become less frequent. I hope Amex realizes that for many frequent fliers, these transfer bonuses make it worth-while to use their cards. Otherwise I would just use a British Airlines Chase card... or My UA Chase card.

There are a few perks to the Amex cards... but for me, the most important is the transfer bonuses.

True -- and for the Chase BA Visa it's 2.5x for BA spend, which is better than most It's still not as good as Amex's 3x, though, plus an additional 15,000 points if you spend $30,000 in a calendar year.

It has been years since a DL transfer bonus. This program of transferring is quickly becoming less and less worthwhile. Yet another erosion although I don't fault Amex specifically for it. Never thought we'd see the day we were mourning the loss of AirTran as a partner.
If they could persuade Starwood to give up that hideous conversion rate. Now that would be interesting.

Coming up on almost a year since the last BA bonus (which itself was only 20%).
Ugh.

It's been a month since the Hawaiian Air Miles promotional offer. I'm beginning to think this is just another in a growing list of Membership Rewards benefits that's been phased out.
