I have a similar question. Anyone know how long it takes for ANA miles to hit your account once you transfer them from Amex?

I think I read somewhere for BA it is almost immediate--can anybody confirm or deny with recent experience? How about for Delta?
I've done both transfers in the last 6 months and it was instantaneous. Like seconds.

Ditto with data point being end of September 2015.

Transferred and then was able to make my Aeroplan award booking immediately after refreshing the page.

How long did this actually end up taking? And any other more recent reports of MR to AsiaMiles?

I'm thinking of transferring 30k over for an award (just opened a new AsiaMiles acct for this purpose), but they'll be orphaned if the award goes away before I can book...

AMEX to Cathay/Marco Polo Transfer

Hi

Does anyone know how long a transfer of AMEX points to Cathay Pacific Marco Polo takes? I entered it yesterday and waiting for it to clear on my Marco Polo account.

I'm based in Japan and getting English support from Amex is difficult so thought I would ask here plus my ticket deadline for flights with Cathay is Monday so time is tight (my fault for not realising I didn't have enough miles in my account).

I'm trying to chase Amex to see if they can process quickly for me. When I did a transfer to ANA that was done within 24 hours so I'm hopeful this will come through ok!

Thanks.

Both of these blog posts say that transfer to AsiaMiles (Marco Polo is only the elite status, not the mileage) take about a day… http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2014/03/25/long-amex-membership-rewards-points-transfers-take/

Thank you, much appreciated.

I meant Asia Miles (rather than Marco Polo). Here is hoping those timings are the same for me!

I've had it take a few days up to a week. I assume they clear once a week and it just depends when you initiate the transfer.

Transfer times are different from Membership Rewards (USA) than from other Membership Rewards sites. I speculate that this is additional internal processing at American Express. The USA transfer times are listed in the Wikipost of the thread.

FYI, the last 2 times I transferred to KF, miles posted within 24 hours just after midnight. Not saying it will happen for everyone but things may have improved.
