2 recent transfers to VS came through overnight.
Each transfer was initiated mid-evening PST, and had not come through by late evening; one of them was in the account the following morning, the other by late afternoon the day after the transfer was requested.

Want to take advantage of a Flying Blue promo award so I just created a flying blue account. Just tried to link MR to FB but it wouldn't recognize my newly created FB number yet. Any clue how long this will take? Thanks.

I tried a transfer from MR to Iberia Plus of 30K points in order to book a non-stop JFK-BCN for a family member. How long does a transfer usually take? I'm ready to book the whole rest of the flight for my family and myself with AA points, but I am a couple points shy of the last one way so I wanted to book the same flight with IB avios. I'm going to be very upset if I lose the award availability!!!

Angry

The avios showed up last night, I called Iberia to book the award and they said the flight was not available. Called again and another agent told me the same thing. I called AA, bought points, and booked the SAME award through them no problem.

Now I'm stuck with 30k avios in IB plus that could have been used for anything else. What a waste of MRs.

MR to CX data point, mid-March, 2014: 48 hours. Better than the 3 to 7 days listed as nominal transfer time.

Initiated a SQ transfer Friday night around 11ET. Still doesnt show up. Usually SQ has take less than 2 days in the past.

Amex says to allow up to 3 business days, which will end today. But it has never taken this long with Singapore Airlines. Anyone else with similar experience?

Showed up around 10pm Wed night, shy of 3 full business days and 5 full days.

Any recent data points on transfer/availability times from AMEX MR to either Delta Sky Miles or BA Avios? Need to do that for first time pretty soon.

Once I initiate the transfer on AMEX website, how fast are the miles available for usage in booking awards on those respective sites?

I think I read somewhere for BA it is almost immediate--can anybody confirm or deny with recent experience? How about for Delta?
