Here are the current (April 2013) transfer times as listed on the Membership Rewards website:

Immediate (but please allow up to 48 hours for the transfer to be completed.)

Transfer time to VS?
Last posted transfer time I saw was in early 2017, which was instant. Any more recent DPs?

I tried transferring 11K miles today and it definitely wasn't immediate. It's only been an hour though so will keep checking.
I am having the same issue. The points came back to my amex account. EY told me there was an issue last week and to try again. I tried again, and now i'm on day 1 of waiting (though I assume the points will again be back in my Amex account later today or tomorrow).

My points "bounced back" as well. Unfortunately I was trying to do this to book an award before some Etihad miles expired... of course they're gone now... oh well... it wasn't that many Etihad miles that expired.

Just transferred miles to Cathay (CX) and it was instantaneous. I didn't expect that but I clicked back to Asia Miles website, hit reload and there they were.

Just did a transfer to CX today and it was instant. Pretty cool! Last time I did a transfer to CX (in 2017/2018), it took almost a week.

Not sure if it's a one off but transferred MR to Asia Miles today and the miles posted instantaneously.

48 hours for ANA, almost to the minute.

That's awesome re CX. I was sweating it out 2 years ago waiting for a transfer and terrified I'd lose 5x J seats. Have another potential transfer coming up in August so am very happy to see CX points posting so quickly!

I tried a QF transfer earlier today and I'm still waiting. It had been reported elsewhere that these were processing instantly, but mine still hasn't gone through after 6 hours. Maybe just my bad luck.

Anybody got any recent DPs on transfer to Flying Blue? Is it still immediate? Can you then use those miles immediately or do you have to wait 24-48 hours to "finish processing"? Thanks

Flying Blue was instant and I was able to use those points on a reservation on hold within the same 1-2 hours
