My July postings are a mess - all of them posted with only one segment of the round trip. Wondering if I should start submitting credit requests, call in (since the issue is with 10+ records), or wait and see if they post an update to the account?

In my experience, the app will let you check in for the first leg without trouble, but not for the subsequent legs.

That said, I just used two of these on:

DCA-JFK-SFO (second leg only)

and

SFO-LAX-JFK-DCA (second leg only)

In both cases, I checked in on the app at T-24 and was only given a boarding pass for the first segment.

In both cases, by the time the flights got closer (say, T-4ish before the first segment of each), I was magically able to see all my boarding passes on the app, and no one asked for the BXP1 cert on either trip.

So... YMMV.

I might add -- on both trips, I upgraded J-->F on the A321T and thought it was a fantastic use of the BXP1, especially now with the Flagship First Dining at JFK and the Qantas lounge at LAX.

None of my July flights/legs have posted.

Calling in is how I fixed my July postings. I was unable to submit credit requests since the return flight had posted, the system would not let me submit a request for a missing flight (flight wasn't missing - just didn't post correctly).

I found the missing segments credited under 'current activity' under the 'flight credit request' tab. I did not submit a credit request - somehow it was done for me.

I just looked at my statement and see the same thing...the August credit request = the July credit (was credited August 17th).

Ahh, great tip, thanks!! (I actually just emailed BE Customer Service yesterday but should have checked here first!)

I looked in there, but it still only shows one of two segments. :(

From BE Customer Service

Regarding the July glitch:

Thank you for your email. We apologize that we had to process a second run of July tickets. You will find those missing segments under your current monthly summary. At the bottom of that page, click on Fight Credit Requests to view.

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Interesting. My customer-service-requested segments are still only a fraction of my missing segments though.

20th Anniversary Bonus

Received my latest statement this morning and it was highlighted by the "free Upgrade" bonus for this anniversary. The code to register was different from the one provided back in the spring when this promotion was first sent to members. However, it appears this is the same upgrade (actually 650 points bonus) promotion as the earlier one. When I entered the new code it came back with a "You're already registered" screen...and of course, I've already earned the bonus back in the spring. Just a head's up on this.

I got the email this morning too. I successfully registered for the promotion, but I don't have a flight scheduled before the expiration date. If I've flown in the recent past, will that get me the promotion too? Or does the flight have to take place after I register for the promotion?

StatusChallenged Sep 3, 2017 11:57 am

I registered earlier this year for the BX20UPGWELCOME, got an email this morning about being able to get

650 bonus points when you register using code BX20UPG and take one flight within 30 days of registering, that’s it.
I registered and looks like I got a confirmation, but wanted to make sure I'd get points for another booking. I was going to rent a car but I could fly to Boston from New York instead if this was the case.

Thank you for the heads up.

I currently have no AA flights scheduled until the second half of October, will wait a few weeks to register for the new promo, as it requires travel within 30 days of registration, which is open until Sept 30.
