Anyone have experience with upgrades on DFW/MIA/CLT-MEX? Seems unlikely as a Plat but I have some options to connect via any of those airports and wondering if anyone has more luck on a certain route.

I fly to MEX often, and I think your best upgrade shot is CLT, then DFW. Least likely is MIA. This is assuming similar equipment. I would avoid the A319 if that is an option from any of the hubs.
They are going to offer cheap upsells to MEX on the app in my experience. So you may want to look at that if you really want to be in F.

I am flying AA 276 SFO - JFK on 3/25. Expert Flyer shows no available biz or first but the in-app upgrades are there, so they're clearly just not released.
EXP with ~250k rolling LP - likelihood of clearing for anything here? |
3/21 - DAY to DFW
1 EXP, 3 Gold - #1, 34, 35, and 36 on upgrade list respectively. 9 seats available, and I declined the upgrade and declined to bother with sponsoring companion (I have never seen so many people on the upgrade list for this flight). 3/22 - DFW to CUN 1EXP, 3 Gold - #1, 16, 17 and 18 on upgrade list with four seats available. Split record and sponsored a companion for upgrade (787-9 business class). Both cleared at gate. |

This week. More flights, more upgrades:
Edit to add, probably around 250k rolling LP. I'm also on AA100, JFK-LHR tonight, which has had confirmable C upgrade space available for at least the last 3 days. But I don't waste SWUs on short TATLs, my W seat will be good enough for this painful short redeye. |
Sunday: DEN-DFW #4 for no seats, DFW-RDU upgraded at T-12, saw UGs being sold for ~140$ at T-24, not sure for which flight. ~260k rolling LP.

Upgrade chance DFW- HNL & OGG- LAX
Flying 5/2 from DFW- HNL. I did a cash/copay upgrade for two ppl. What is the likelihood of the upgrade clearing? I don’t have any other status or LPs. If unlikely to clear, I may just cancel and do a cash upgrade offer to PE. Can I then rejoin the list for cash/copay?
flying 5/13 from OGG- LAX. Same situation the second leg cleared already from LAX-PHL. Chances of the initial leg clearing? thanks! |
