● For information on current and recent AA flight delays, check out: AACargo.com

● For information on U.S. Airport Delays, check out: FAA Flight Delay Information

● For information about holds, delays, etc. on airports, flights, historical data check FlightStats.

ExpertFlyer also provides FLIFO / Flight Status Comments for current flights in it's Flight Status section here.

● For "translation" of FLIFO terms, use this page on FlyerGuide.

● For current and forecasted weather delays, use Weather.com Airport Delays

● To see a flight's path within the US radar areas and delay histories, use FlightAware flight tracking. (N.B. Some features require a free signup.)

AA 693 HNL-PHX diverted Friday June 25th, 2021

Anyone know why AA 693 HNL-PHX returned back towards Honolulu, 1.5hrs into it's flight? It departed 10pm and returned 1:30am. Will this typically effect the flight on Saturday (today) or Sunday (tomorrow)?

In my experience a couple weeks ago the plane that I took from PHX to HNL did not originate in HNL. I can’t remember where it was from but not there. There are also two PHX to HNL flights. Which one are you on?

Umm...I'm going to guess if a flight had to divert mid-flight over the Pacific Ocean, it was NOT for crew rest requirements.

I have someone who got bump it off the flight. They flying back PHX, but they were on standby. All HNL-PHX flights were full. So they took a flight to LAX and then they couldn't get on the flight to PHX. All LAX-PHX is full. They had take Ubers to LGB airport and they took a flight home. They made it back home okay.

I want to know where they put all those passengers up for the night. Hotel rooms are scarce to non-existent right now.

That doesn’t seem to add up. Arrival numbers are still lower than 2019. Missing 10K daily international arrivals on a statewide basis. Where would these passengers have stayed?

AA flight 32 diverted

Flight 32 from LAX to JFK was diverted yesterday, June 28th, to STL. It left LAX at 1423 (almost an hour beyond its scheduled 1330 departure) and, because of its diversion to STL, didn't arrive at JFK till 0226 on June 29th. I've looked but can't find a reason for the diversion to STL.

Heard that there's been a lot of rough weather and tornado warnings over in the Midwest and Great Lakes area.

Looks like a maintenance, not weather, delay.

AA is slowly imploding.

It looks like at STL, there was a plane swap from the Transcon flagship 321 to a domestic config A320. Terrible!
