I flew ORD-MAD, Wed, back on Sunday. No lines at all on both parts. I'll say, it was about 5-7 minutes to go through security. What took long was the queue for the VAT return upon departure.

Flew out of BCN-LHR (T1) this morning. BA line was SLOW for bag check, but got through Priority lane in 10 minutes. Security lines were minimal, as was passport control. We arrived at the airport around 10:20 and were walking on to the plane at 11:05 for an 11:40 departure.

I have no idea how true it is, but something on the news mentioned there will be checks for Schengen flights during the COP25 summit for the next couple weeks
