Let's hope things begin to improve and if not we continue to press the FA's to follow company policy.

So there you have it.

@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG No #PDBServed
@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Full #PDBServed
@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Limited #PDBServed

This allows all PDB service to be posted, good, bad, and otherwise. This should show AA that we feel this is a desired service. Maybe if someone gets energetic, a summary post could be done, maybe weekly?

Just confirmed that boarding in the last group doesn't prevent you from getting a PDB. Someone boarded last and was still offered a PDB although the pax declined. This was in contrast to my previous three experiences spanning two different airlines unfortunately (where I boarded last and was not even asked for a PDB). It must be me. Either that or the FA on today's flight must have been the anomaly.

7/3 AA 2307 LAS - LAX: full PDB from a very good crew, plus another round of drinks during the ATC delay that kept us on the ground at Las Vegas for 30 minutes or so.

#1346 CLT-AUA: Full PDB from an awesome, classic LUS senior flight crew! PDBs served with chaser minis, glasses never empty during flight, and warm/friendly service from a crew that clearly enjoyed their jobs! 👍👍

7/15: AA3212 (eagle, skywest) COU-DFW: No PDB

Surprised by this, but in fairness it was a really tight turn around for them. A bottle of water would have been nice, but the young FA did profusely apologize.

7/15: AA2206 DFW-MIA (772): No PDB.

This crew was bad. Couldn’t have cared less that there were passengers onboard. 45 min boarding, and not even a sniff of service. Plenty of time, but chatting was the priority. Service was forced and “shoved” at you. Maybe the port side aisle FA was better on service during the flight, but still nobody could be bothered to meet the service guidelines.

7/16 7/17 DCA-BOS BOS-DCA PDBs flowing freely practically before I sat down! Very good crews in both directions, hanging jackets and getting drinks out early and often.
