Let's hope things begin to improve and if not we continue to press the FA's to follow company policy.

So there you have it.

@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG No #PDBServed
@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Full #PDBServed
@AmericanAir 08/18 AA123 ORG Limited #PDBServed

This allows all PDB service to be posted, good, bad, and otherwise. This should show AA that we feel this is a desired service. Maybe if someone gets energetic, a summary post could be done, maybe weekly?

6/06 AA1803 DCA-MIA Full PDB.

The FA even asked one foreign passenger about his beer preferences to help him select the closest match from AA's selection. I was impressed.

AA1191 DFW-LGA, 6/11, no PDB

This flight had a listed boarding time of 5:01 from DFW gate C35. The inbound had arrived at 4:30ish so I thought we would be all set. At 5:10 we were all still standing around. The GA announced that we were still waiting for flight attendants who had arrived at 4:30 in terminal A. About 5:20 the flight attendants finally strolled up to the gate in a leisurely manner, talking among themselves. Seeing all of us standing there, one of them commented “oh, are we late?” Naturally, they then did not offer PDBs, likely due to the late boarding caused by their taking the scenic route between terminals A and C.

When I fly F, I get an email survey from AA a few days later, about half my flights. One of the questions is whether I received a PDB. Do FAs know that AA is attempting to track this info ? Or do they just not care ? Is there any enforcement or accountability between Mgt and the FA when the service has not been provided ?. Just wondering...

6/11 AA2745 DFW-RDU - No PDB (NYC crew)
6/14 AA2472 RDU-DFW - Full PDB (DFW crew)

It always annoys me to no end when there are TWO F/A's standing at the front of the plane and between the two of them they can't manage to serve 16 PDBs. That just screams I don't give a crap.

Is it standard for FAs not to serve a PDB to an F passenger boarding in the last group? Happened to me twice in AA domestic F and once in DL domestic F recently; on all three occasions I did not board with group 1 but elected to board with the last group. Again, on all three occasions, I was the only one in the F cabin who was not offered a PDB. I had assumed it was because of my boarding in later groups, but even then it seemed odd?!

What bubbles are served nowerdays in 3 class international first for PDB? Is it the same champagne used in flight or a ’sparkling wine’ to save on the taxes on the ground?
