Miles usually post on Bask website on the second business day of the month, to AA a day or 2 later.
Check the "Rewards" section of your Bask dashboard or the Recent Activity section of your AA account.
Current earn rate as of June 2023: 2.5 miles/dollar/year, awarded monthly (no LP's).

No argument bro. Just do not want get stuck with a 1099 come year end. Like Citi and now Chase.
Here is the response from BD. Will update once I hear anything else....
"I've submitted your concerns to the manager and she is going to contact our legal department about this issue. Once she hears something back we'll let you know. Thanks."

Sure seems like it.
No. Citi sent a 1099 for a different bonus. Besides, they don't always send it. Someone even mentioned getting Citi to correct his 1099 to $0 (most hit a stone wall). And if you get a 1099 you can still use a different amount on your taxes. If you feel "it is obvious that ... warrants a 1099" and have some audit concern, then you're welcome to claim extra income on your personal tax form yourself without a 1099.
BankDirect has been awarding miles for years without any reports of 1099s here, so I can't understand the purpose of your letter. Maybe you should post it.

I'd be pissed as hell if this happens, but I highly doubt that the tax consequences of a mileage account never crossed the mind of anyone in legal department at major bank ... and then all the sudden some bozo's email gets them to send out a bunch of 1099s.

Yup, until this last month, I always received any odd number of miles, not something rounded down to the lower 100. Fair enough, I'll make sure my avg daily balance doesn't exceed x00 by more than a few $. And I don't believe I ever received a warning that this was going to happen.

Is there somewhere on their site that you've seen which lists out your instant Avg Daily Bal? I could calc it of course, but since I don't have tens of thousands of $ to put in there to just sit for now, i'm using it for all of my normal transactions so would take a while to calc each time i want to see.

Since the IRS has previously ruled that miles aren't taxable, I don't see why anyone here would go to BD trying to force them to take an alternative position. They (currently - according to the IRS) are not taxable.

According to the FAQ, you need three different merchants.

Not sure if they changed this in April.

Does anybody use MINT.com to track their accounts? I can't seem to figure out how to add BankDirect to my MINT.com account.
