Let us know if you get credit for both, as the AA eshopping site states the offer is only for first time customers. Does the United offer have the same stipulation listed on their shopping site?

Hope that card was registered on AAdvantage Eshopping site.

This looks strangely similar to Netflix. Is this a monthly charge of $2.99? ( Mind you I have not signed up yet) Just hard to believe you get almost 1k miles for such a small purchase. A loop hole?

*** Never mind. I see the trial membership now. You have to cancel or it re-ups every month.

If you do this make sure you pay attention during the checkout process for the Game Club trial box being checked. That is how they will get you for recurring charges

Call me spoiled, but after last weekend's $0.00 RT expedia.ca fares, this deal doesn't seem worth the effort.

I thought they tracked the purchase through a cookie or a code in the link for online purchases, whereas dining purchases were tracked by card.

If you're right, then I just wasted $2.99 by using a virtual credit card number.

I chose a game for $2.99. When I unchecked the game club membership, the price went to 6.99, so you may have signed up for the game club membership, so be sure to cancel in time.

I was able to uncheck the game club membership, and the price stayed $2.99. I signed up for both ADV & MP miles using different email accounts and pre-paid Amex. I did "register" the pre-paid Amex, but I'm not sure that makes a difference.

I think the "registration" is only for in-person retail purchases at select retailers...

Thanks, but I unchecked the membership box & it stayed $2.99. Scroll down and look for "catch of the week" on the left. That game is $2.99 without the membership.
