LAX-ORD-FLL-DFW-LAX
264 a/i same day return. 5280 x 2 = 10560 miles
~2.6cpm, but you gain same day return.

I'd rather just fly LAX-ORD-LAX for 10470 EQM/RDM (assuming PLT bonus). That is available for 219 a/i, and takes a lot less time. You give up a lot by not flying a matched pair of segments that qualify for DEQ11.

AA's official spokesperson has confirmed in writing that the answer is yes - and some have reported that the LAX-ORD and DFW-LAX segments that you proposed do qualify for DEQ11 - so I think your estimate of 10560 EQM for the itinerary you proposed may be low.

Anyone seeing any good fares for us Europeans? Seeing some old reliables around the €520 (MAN/LHR-SFO rtn €380 two years ago!) mark but 2 trips would leave about 500 miles short of PLAT.

Why are EQM and RDM equal? I thought EQM would be 3x the base mileage and PLT RDM would be 2x.

Everyone is posting awesome fares. I have a question though, I always thought that in order to earn the DEQM that you must have a fare booked into First/Business. Am I correct or wrong in thinking this?

Wrong. There are bonuses for flying first/business, but that's another kettle of fish from this promo.

As in past DEQM promotions, that thread becomes long and cumbersome to find good fares posted to take advantage of this opportunity. And, as in the past, I'll start a thread DEDICATED to posting only good fares that will meet the qualifications of the promotions.
Thanks
