MVP100k wasn’t implemented until the end of Jan 2022, if I remember correctly. So you were probably a 75k until Jan 30, 2022.

if you were unable to requalify for the status you held in 2022, you have a second chance. To earn back your status through December 31, 2023, earn the following number of base flight miles between January 13 and April 13, 2023. Terms and conditions apply. Eligible members will be automatically enrolled in the offer after year-end and will receive an email from Alaska by the second week of January.

I already received my welcome email message to another year of MVP. It didn’t mention that I dropped down from MVP75K. Might have been useful to mention this promo in the message. Obvious *I* know about this promo and am planning my Q1 travel accordingly, but others who lost their status might look elsewhere for Q1 travel, not realizing that AS is going to offer this way to earn status back.

I was MVP Gold in 2022 but didn’t requalify for elite status at all in 2023. Can I qualify for MVP via the Fast Track offer?Yes, if you are eligible for the Fast Track to regain Gold status but only fly 5,000 eligible base miles during the promo period, you will receive MVP status through December 31, 2023.

I think the dates are pretty set so I made sure to book ahead to take advantage of this upcoming 3-day holiday weekend...the one in February doesn't seem to have as good of deals.

Same question here. Seems like they'd want to incentivize higher spend a bit.. There's a PVR-LAX where the first class fare is ~ $150 more than main (and only $30 more than my outbound!).. If it helps me get my Gold back a bit faster, it's a no brainer. Even if it doesn't, I should prob just do it.. I feel like this will follow the same pattern as a standard status challenge - does that credit bonus EQM for first class?

Correction: I think they meant any MVP status, not MVP vs MVPG.
