Is there somewhere to track these scheduled changes? This would be valuable for planning flights.

Not that I am aware of. I happen to fly SEA-STL a good amount and noticed the planned change there, as well as to MCI, IND, and possibly a few other places. The one caveat is that AS has not adjusted December schedules, so it's possible the 2x SEA-STL and 3x daily SEA-MCI could drop a flight each day and change to a 737.

Flew SEA-ORD-SEA in R fare 4 times over the last week, never made the F list as gold. Seems like more elites are traveling now or F is just too cheap for this route and everyone paid for it.

I would argue that it's mainly seat blocking that's making it almost more difficult to clear the upgrade list than pre-COVID....the only hope you have is if you are in a 16 seat cabin or E175.

It's definitely due to social distancing seat blocking if you are having trouble getting upgraded.

I've taken around 20 flights since jumping back in the saddle in August and I have been upgraded on every flight, but there definitely are less spots, so I imagine that if you are not 75k, your chances are much slimmer than before.

21 OCT 2020 / SEA-LAS / AS1426 / R / 75K+Companion with no status / Tickets purchased 16 SEP during the BUYTHEROW promotion.
  • At T-24, I was 5/15 on the waitlist.
  • By T-18, I was #2 on the waitlist, three previously open FC seats had been filled, and three previously filled PC seats had opened up.
  • At T-100 minutes, I fell to #3 on a waitlist now 20 deep. More on that below.
  • When flying PC or FC, I now wait to board till the end of the line. FC & Elites had already been called to board and they were over halfway through boarding Main when the GA called up what turned out to be the #1 /2 party, as well as me and my companion. We were all four upgraded to FC after FC & PC boarding had already passed.
  • Turns out that the new #2 had been "nested" with #1 and didn't appear separately until T-100. My companion, now #4 , also didn't show on the upgrade list till then either.
  • I finally got my chicken wrap. Not bad, but a little heavy on the cream cheese

Cleared at gate as #1 and #2 on waitlist. There had been one person ahead of us the night before who changed their flight after checking in. I didn’t notice if anyone else cleared, but I expect at least one other did.

First on list, upgraded as boarding began. Seemed like one other psgr received a battlefield upgrade as well.

F was sold out for weeks ahead of time (this is the only LAX-NYC flight running right now).
