Cool, thanks for the info. Interesting how the bulkhead row in F has gained 8 inches of legroom. While that's great, I still wish AS had kept 4 rows of F on the 738, even if it meant the 1st row didn't have quite so much extra room. Standardizing the 738 and 739 fleet to have 4 rows of F and 4 of PE would have made a lot of sense to me.

I think I may be flying one Sunday. Flying SEA-DEN Friday. The config originally had 12FC now has 16FC, I am upgraded on the outbound. I think this was scheduled to be new.
My return Sunday DEN-SEA AS675 has 12FC and rows 6-10 have been blocked since I booked 8/12. I am in 17 but keep looking to move up to 6. My wife bought FC and the web site shows seats in FC assigned during check in. The equipment has not showed up on flighttrader24

I have 9 upcoming AS flights. A grand total of one of them on a 738, everything else is a 739.
At least I will have better odds of the F upgrade...

The good news is that the new seats have LOADS of leg room. Seriously, more than even I can make use of.
The bad news is that now they apparently feel the need to "overbook" first class and demote you to coach with little more than a hollow apology. I got to enjoy my seat for about 5 minutes before they told me I wasn't important enough to have a *#*(#@!ing seat that I paid for.
