Ya, should have brought a yardstick :-).
For reference, I'm a tall guy. AS first is kind of a conundrum for us tall guys, because the exit row seats usually have more legroom.
Remember, there are pics of both old and new first above.
Old PDX-SEA (LAST PIC ONLY), knee almost hits the seatback.
New SEA-RDU (all other pics), the legroom was ample. No way my knee touches the seatback while sitting normally and I could even cross my legs pretty easily.
The power box is still there for both old and new in 3A. Really I think the only difference is that the space has been widened 4-5 inches between the rows.

Maybe it's just the angle of the photos, but I honestly don't see much difference....your knee looks very close to the seat in front of you which it basically how it seems now in F....did they actually change anything in F or was it only Y that was positively affected by the reconfiguration?
On a side note, the breakfast looks great....it's nice to see a fruit plate without that spicy red powder sprinkled all over

Thanks for the pics. Did you venture beyond the curtain?
And that does look like a good breakfast.

No sorry I didn't get a good look at coach.
Seat recline seemed the same between old and new first (ie not much).
A win for tall folks though. No more seat remorse when moving up to first from the exit row. And the extra space in coach will be nice when in the back.

On the old F, it's pretty horrible, row 6 with an empty middle was better IMHO.

I'm guessing the PSU's were adjusted as well overhead?
Wonder if it takes longer to move them or the seats... probably the PSU's.

I thought the same thing! I kept flipping back and forth between the photos, trying to figure out which was "before" and which was "after" ...
Maybe side-on shots across the aisle - taken from the same vantage point each time, like at row 2 - would provide more perspective.

The headrests are taupe in Y+.
Row 4 to row 6 is 40" pitch. The new first class is 42".
Yes the PSU's are moved.
No need to use a tape measure to check the seats.

Just double stack some rows. Lose head space, but gain leg space! ^
Thanks for the info. Hope to see some pictures/info about window alignments now. I like looking out the window, and some rows in the old configuration you really had to crank your neck to look out properly.
