My father bid £305 for LAX-AKL from Y to Y+. 3 charges went onto his credit card but still declined 1 hrs prior to departure (he was continuing on from LHR). Fairly bad for the bid to be charged 3 times, that's a decent chunk of money held up on a credit card!

that I understand having to return from LAX a few weeks ago and without my RU cleared.
if that’s the case NZ should look at the number of J seats it should configure on its 77Ws. Look at how many CX has on the same plane
for me, my major route is HKG, and even so, I never got op up....
I would really appreciate this perk.

I'm trying to place a bid for a flight nine days away. The OneUp button is available to push next to the flight but then it directs to a page saying "Website Temporarily Unavailable". It has been like this each time I have tried over the last week or so. Does this mean that I am actually ineligible to request it? Or can the website really be down for that long?

One of the failings of the program that they expire. If this were points from another program they would merely fall back into your pool of points ready for the next application. However that's not the way it works currently. I've gifted an RU and used the short haul RU this year, had a long haul RU fail. I need to apply it to a future flight but probably call to ensure it goes through prior to failing. I've never called to have an RU go through but next time I apply it I will. One of those unique quirks about the NZ programme. C'est la vie.

Both flights very full. FA said they're going to add daily flights soon to keep up with demand.
Great service and food in J for the 16.3 hour marathon flights, went quite quickly thanks to a decent sleeping tablet and comfy bed

It was my main gripe on the flight - but it was being done to service was based around crew rest breaks.
