This one is simply too funny not to share it here. Kudos to the marketing team that has a spot-on description of domestic J product.
I do like those cheese gavottes, but I would hardly call them "gastronomic food". As for the value of the offer, everyone can decide whether 30g of gavottes is worth 199€ more than 30g of butter cookies served in Y...

My wife (still Explorer as waiting for her Plat status through Amex, but that's another story...) got a really special offer from KL:
The combo 52 Lounge access + Eco Comfort seat for only €153 instead of €170 as they say.
Separately, the lounge access (in which she'll enter for free anyway) is sold €49.5 - and the Y Comfort seat at €93.5!
Go figure ...

During online check-in :
FRA - CDG : Y to J 59 €. No thanks (but pleasant surprise, this flight was upgauged to an AF-operated flight instead of the usual Hop ! EJ, perhaps due to the cancellation of all FRA flights due to the strike today)
CDG - IAD : Y to PE 509 € or 35 k miles / Y to J 1 129 € ou 89 k miles. Both PE and J were quite empty.
Took the miles offer to PE a little grudgingly knowing it's not a stellar product on the 77W, but it's a daytime flight and may as well profit from an emptier cabine for 8,5 hours.

NTE-CDG: 199 or 17,5kMiles
CDG-BER: 309 or 17,5kMiles
BER-AMS: 69€ and 149€ (Wife and I - both platinum. It seems that my few mileage runs in business cost me a few bucks)
AMS-LYS: no offer
Well, we did not get any of them.
For the record, it was possible to change the ticket to J and connect in CDG for 145€ before online check in starts.
