Hi

I’m looking at upgrading 2 x AF763 - PTP - CDG one way, from economy to premium on 25/3.
Called up and was told cost would be about €600 per seat, but that it wasn’t currently available, but could become available?

I don’t want to miss out, but also don’t want to keep calling/ messaging.

is there a website where I could check?

Any idea how many FB miles I could expect this to cost?

You can check on ExpertFlyer. It seems buckets in Premium are almost sold out (W2 only). They might open some additional in the future but hard to tell.

For a upgrade with miles, again out of luck for now

What might happen is either new buckets that open (only way to find out is to call back to check regularly whether an upgrade is possible in Miles), or you'll be offered an upgrade during check-in, but no way to know about this in advance, neither about availability nor about cost.

Thanks for your response, much appreciated

How would I get this information myself?
I’ve tried registering for expertflyer, but unless I pay I’m only seeing options to set alerts, not the ability to get what you’ve posted?

I do have a paid account - I invest for the community There might be additional ways to retrieve that information, but ExpertFlyer suits me

AF344 CDG-YUL onboard A359 aircraft from An expensive Y ticket (Y/M booking class):

Y to PE: 399 EUR or 32.700 miles
Y to J: 1.199 EUR or 89.000 miles

really absurd.

update, miles fare changed now from 89.000 miles to 107.000 miles. EUR amount is still 1.199.

I really wonder how these algorithms work.

CDG BKK bought in very cheap Y (x class )
trying to upgrade to J before getting the OLCI offer.
was quoted 1500 euros each or 125000 miles ( thanks but no for a NEV 4 seat)
when I try to modify my ticket by actually changing to a J ticket on the CdG to BKK leg I get 1180 euros (O class) Per person Which would come with extra XP. (Was getting 2300 euros each few days ago)
I was surprised as the current J ticket is sold in C class at a very high price.

i ll wait for the OLCI offer to see what I get.

How does it feel to be out of purgatory again ?

Though even 10€ is expensive for a CC upgrade, those look fine overall. My last MRS-CDG was a nice €289 ^^

Not entirely sure where to post this. I was just given a free upgrade from SXM to CDG. On my boarding pass it read "PDST ultimate". I searched but couldn't find it. But anyone knows what this "PDST" stands for?

CDG BKK
Y to J 1591 EUR or 121300 miles
a bit ridiculous knowing that modification to actual J (in O class) is still at 1190 €.

Y to W 489 EUR or 39 900 miles

Pretty empty flight in Y it seems
