I didn't know there is that option. Will keep checking.

CDG - SEA, W to J for 450€ or 64k miles. I took the cash option, although it is the old business class, it's still way better than PE for an almost 10 hour flight The miles amount is very bad though I think.

The cash option is worth it.

An upgrade into O class, ahead of OLCI, from Premium Economy cheapest (A) is 30.000 miles, as a point of comparison.

Other data points :

SFO-CDG April 28
Y->W 619 euros or 49'900 miles
Y->J 1887 euros or 97'000 miles

Ridiculous as the A380 was quite empty in W and J

CDG-GVA April 30
Y->J 129 euros

ORD-CDG in economy lite. $493 to business or $193 to premium. I would have taken the business but there was only one seat and that is a great way to end a relationship.
I was really surprised by the cost as it seems really low for the already super low fare I paid. I have no status with flying blue at all.

AMS - NTE for 41€ at OLCI for both passengers, the lowest I have seen.
I didn't take it and there was only 1 or 2 people in business on the flight.

Giving the upgrade to a partner might also be a great way to strengthen a relationship
