To maximize XP's or miles? To Maximize XP's you should be looking at AMS-CDG-ICN-XXX and to maximize miles, book such an itinerary not with AF/KL so the number of miles gets calculated based on distance flown instead of spend

I've booked AMS-TPE-SYD business return for 2500 euro's and will earn me 43000 miles & 132xp. Not the best deal, but not bad either for 24hrs in a plane. TPE-SYD is a long 2 flight instead of long 3, so that could be better, but CI had a good price!

Any sample dates? Google Flights is not proving very helpful in reproducing this.

two websites can be helpful

1 = skyteam = https://www.skyteam.com/en/flights-and-destinations
2 = google = http://flights.google.com

WARNING = be aware of sharecodes between asia and australia with qantas , etihad or any other non-skyteam airlines , you need to avoid them otherwise you wont get miles/XP

as glennhaak said , plan some stops during your jouney , as differences between long1 , long2 and long3 are quite important if you fly business class and also its better for your health to make stops rather than direct flights

Is the promo code only good for purchases on the Alitalia site? I presume that is the Alitalia site shown in the post above, but it looks different to how I remember it. I think the Munich to Madrid itinerary is really interesting.

the promo code is only valid on the alitalia website. you can also go to BCN for the same price with about the same flight times.
London from Munich is about 345€ - other AZ destinations in Europe work as well.

Oh dear! That really cuts it short, doesn't it? Will just have to wait for the next round of promo codes. Although I haven't seen this one before. Is the discount €50?
