SVO-CDG-TLV RT=17850 Status Miles for €551 in biz

I wonder whether one needs a Russian visa when transiting inside the airport (D-E-F terminals are all connected in Moscow). Maybe one can couple with TLV-CDG-SVO which is €593

4 tickets and you are plat

looks like the route is the longest one with 250% European multiplier

all on AF capacity/metal. SU can be more fun though but wine/food on AF CDG-SVO is quite okay as well

usually no need for a transit visa in SVO, but you'd better check (can be different between citizenships). Furthermore, in that case, I understand that from SVO, you will travel to another destination on a separate ticket and AF may not let you board to SVO without a Russian visa in your passport (because for them you are ending your trip in SVO).

Indeed the 250% is nice
Is it on specific dates? I only see it quotes for 616€ if I choose random dates...

Mai and early June seems to be the only days..but 2 minimum stay. You may can do some cross booking.
And if you are not a russian citizen you need a visa first. If you want to do that trip more then once in a month you have to get a multiple entry business visa.

Edit: For 2k less miles one could start at Kiev same dates. No Visa issues there.

There are countries such as Brazil and Venezuela which need no visas to Russia. And most of ex-Soviets are also fine

Curently AZ offers FCO-MEX-FCO in business class for 1670€ - booked with OTA the price drops to 1594€ - quite a good price for 25.000 status miles on a very good long haul product.

I booked it for mid-June.

AZ with business class earning of 200% base miles is currently the best deal in the Flying Blue universe.

Last weekend I was flying AZ on CAI-FCO-LAX-JFK-FCO-CAI for 1050€ in business class - an even better deal

These are great deals, f0zzyNUE. I've been following your exploits over in the mileage runs forum. You'll probably catch the best of this before Alitalia disappears, or leaves Skyteam, or something else. I wish I wasn't so busy, otherwise I'd do something similar. I sometimes kind of find it hard to justify it if I don't really need to go to these destinations, though.

Looking at this again (SVO-CDG-TLV)...Though the miles are bad now, you get it for 440€. One problem though ,the AF Flight books into "O" which is normally an award class, right? 4 runs still gonna give you plat.
From SVO you can do a saturday/sunday run. From BUD (same price) you have to stay 1 more day. Doesn't matter to start from SVO right because the miles are depending on the ticket price , exp is also the same.

Yes I am very curious where this O class is coming from suddenly. I have noticed for the other ongoing fare from CH to Cuba Business fare, the booking class is in O class. Is this a new even lower than Z-class coming?

Cheers!
