I'm flying CDG-DOH in QR First next month. If I fly LAX-CDG in La Première, can I use the La Première Lounge as an arrivals/transit lounge prior to my QR flight, and have my PA drive me directly from my inbound flight to the lounge? I'll have a 6 hour layover.

I doubt it, but no harm to ask the P line. But if you fly P on QR, you probably will be well treated by QR in their lounge.

o.k., I am confused and haven't flown AF in 10 years ... yeah, I know, I used to be a regular flyer ...

So we have an F ticket JFK-CDG-BIO r/t. CDG-BIO of course in J and on AF flight operated by HOP.

Question: I assume on the return they will pick us up from the BIO flight even though it is operated by HOP? What I am not 100% sure about is the transfer and lounge on the outbound. Is there a pick-up from the JFK flight to the La Premiere lounge? With a transfer then to the BIO flight? We have 3 hrs on the outbound and 4 hrs on the inbound.

Oui et oui. A La Première PA will meet you at the door of your inbound JFK-CDG flight, escort you down to your waiting private car and then drive you to the lounge. That PA will then escort you from the lounge to another private car, drive you to your CDG-BIO plane and escort you onboard.

excellent, thank you! That is what I thought but finding this kind of info on the Air France website is (near) impossible.

Hi, a question about how the layout/process is when DEPARTING LANDSIDE from CDG 2E;

We have a 7 hour layover between arriving intra-Schengen 16h35 at 2F and departing to JNB 23h30 at 2E. So we are thinking about leaving the airport for a couple of hours to go to village Roissy or shopping center Aeroville. We will make sure we are back at CDG 2E around 21h00 to be safe.

But, exactly how does the process look when we are already checked in and have baggage taken care of? What comes first, passport control or security? I have seen from other threads that it must be an L gate departure (A380 late in the evening). Specifically, can we choose between different security lines (no status anymore, sadly), like a specific one directly to the L gates? Is there anything we should think about to pass through effectively (except the usual physical preparation for security I mean, like belt off etc.)
Thanks in advance for any details!

In that case you will enter 2E main hall landside, clear passport control and clear security in your respective satellite (A short train ride for L and M, straight after passport control for K)

You are indeed right that if you are on a late eve departure on an A380 L gates are a certainty. If you have an EU passport you should be able to pass through the automated gates.

Many thanks, joyu12! Very good to hear about automated passport control, and also that there is specific security for L gates.

CDG Airport transit - I know it is chaotic, went there many yrs ago and experienced it. But 2-3 yrs back, when I transit, it wasnt as bad

How is it right now? Will I be able to make it from Terminal 2E to 2F (former is international flight, latter is schengen flight, so need to go through passport control) with 1h10m layover? On a J ticket.

Or should I pick a later flight that will give me an additional 5 hrs layover? Really dont want to spend that much time in CDG airport if possible

Depends on time of day (and day of the week I guess), 1h10 might be plenty or it might be tight, you also need to go through security.

walkway. And late morning should not be a major problem. As a J pax you can use priority lane for immigration and security.

Hi there,

I'll be flying Chicago to Paris on American Airlines. According to easycdg, I should be arriving at Terminal 2E. 4 hours after my arrival, I have a connecting flight to Madrid on Vueling, which should be departing from Terminal 3. The connecting flight is on a separate ticket.

For my 4 hour connection, I would really like to stop by a lounge. I don't have any status but I do have a priority pass membership. I see that that there's a lounge in T1, T2A, T2D, and T2D, but not in T3.

1. After I clear immigration, can I continue on to T2A post-security just to visit the Air Canada priority pass lounge? Should I not check my bags, so I won't have to go to baggage claim?
2. Is there an airside connection from T2A to T3?
3. I would really like to take a shower after my long haul, but the lounges with a shower is only at T1 and T2E. Would it be possible for me to visit those lounges? Can I just go in T1 even though my flight won't be departing from T1?

I know that this is an AF forum, but I figured you guys would know CDG the best. Thank you so much for your help!

You will be arriving at 2A.

Arrival and departure pax are segregated.

Lounge is only for departing pax except AF arrival lounge in 2C.

You cannot access T1. Only access is terminal you are departing ftom (T3).
