Good deal if you go on holidays there ; not so efficient if your travel for business as you ruin a full day of work on the way in .
I usually select direct flights. From paris, with Sky team code shares, I like leaving on the night flight Aeromexico on 787 and return on P a380

I am taking a few days off in Naples with my wife, then fly back to CDG on sunday morning and then directly to MEX (my wife is staying in Paris as we live there).
Good deal for P tickets and the chance to have a few days off to visit Naples before
The only drawback is that I spend my sunday on a plane but in P so life could be worse (and at least, it gives me more time to test the different wines than during night flights

Sweet! I'll be there in January, we'll see if they put on the same show when I asked the luggage tag a couple of years ago, and made me feel like I was asking for the Holy Grail.
On a different note, I just read that if flying La Premire from JFK, it now includes an access to VIPOne (a special lane/lounge that bypasses all the lines, which are usually a total nightmare at JFK T1 even with the La Premiere escort).
I can't find any data source besides this so take with a grain of salt: https://thepointsguy.com/news/vip-on...-security-jfk/
But if it's true, that would be a GREAT addition to the current process, granted too many people don't take advantage of the paying option (at $35 it's a relative bargain and I will not hesitate to pay for that service moving forward).

The one time I flew P out of JFK the escort brought me to the front of lines. Maybe there has been resistance to that? A private lane would be good.

Anyone knows what the minimum layover time is between two flights to use the lounge? I have a one hour layover in CDG, connecting from Latam to Europe. As they are into "early boarding" I'd be afraid that they drive me straight from the incoming plane to immigration / security and then on to the next plane. I could need a quick stop at the lounge (even if taking a shower seems a bit overambituous).
Will be there tomorrow and try to get one. Does it also take them hours to find it? Or do they have them ready in the lounge?
AF uses that service since some time for its Premiere customers. Just beware that at certain times "the dog is out", which means that the special channel is closed because the sniffer dog is out going through the lines (going through the special channel would mean you'd avoid the dog).

I guess you could request a late boarding for your 2nd flight so you can make a better use of P lounge
I would suggest you to send them an email to inform them about your wish to get shower during your connection so they're prepared

. And yes, I don't know it the tag is still available but it was discussed upstream, you can see a pic here: https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/29571172-post385.htmlYou needed to ask for it in the lounge in Paris. When I did it at first they kind of pretended they didn't know what I was talking about, then told me they don't have any left but will check, and they finally brought one an hour later. Looks like several other people here had a similar experience

Thanks for the hints.
Can someone help me out with the email address of La Premiere? I guess it's buried somewhere over the past 55 pages... never emailed them, only have their phone number
Are they looking at emails 24H a day? I have something else I'd like to communicate.
Can't call them, hence email is great

I never heard about this service at JFK. Great indeed. The description of JFK T1 security clearance in this article is very accurate : an horrible zoo with the most rude TSA agents of all USA. AF should also provide this service to Ultimate (knowing that they will provide it to HIPP pax
)
