However, according to AF's information you passed along, none of the 330s are in the BEST configuration and for that matter, Houston doesn't even show up on their map or list of cities served.
I am afraid that you are wrong.
The Monday flights are operated by a A330-200 (as all other days) and the seat map is 2x2x2.

F-GZNR has been delivered yesterday by Boeing and has arrived this morning in CDG. We will see in the coming days which routes that ship will fly and hopefully know wether she is equipped with the new J.

My bad - I was so excited at seeing 2 seats in the middle rather than three that I failed to realized there were also two at the windows.

Sorry!

I agree. Actually, it could be misleading for the casual reader of the AF forum. Changes in Y are not improvements. And changes in PEY are mostly cosmetic. Good that the word "BEST" has disappeared in the wiki for those planes. And shame on AF to have chosen this config for planes freshly delivered.

BTW, having the seat map in the wiki for each type of aircraft is REALLY nice. Thanks

CDG-ICN summer 2016 looks like Boeing 777-300ER 381 seats J-W-Y with old J and new Y

I believe you are going to get this configuration (last one on the Wiki at the top/above).

Boeing 777-300ER 381 seats J-W-Y with old J and new W-Y

Just put in a date of travel for the flight and look at the seat map and try to match it to one of the ones listed at the top of the Wiki.

I don't know what picture that translates into.

New BEST destinations since a few days : EZE/MVD, BOS, BLR and KIX.
Is BLR on the new business class once launched during all seasons? I get confusing seat maps far into the future, e.g. Oct. 2016 Air France web site says A330-200.

Also, wondering if DEL is slated to go new business class in winter 2016/17. I think it currently has old J buy (maybe) new Y. DEL also says A330-200 instead of 777 for Oct. 2016.

There is never any guarantee. If you see some A332 for some flights, then it means no BEST seats for the moment.

We don't know that yet. Again, if you see A332 for october, no BEST seats. But so many change can happen in 1 year.

I would be surprised if AF had loaded an accurate plane schedule W2016 for a year from now. Even the Summer 2016 seems a bit fuzzy for now.

As of now, I'm scheduled on this configuration for a BOS-CDG flight.

Is there a preferred seat in J? I usually choose a center section aisle, toward the back of the cabin, in the hope that the middle seat stays empty. Or if it's a flight that's likely to be full, I'll go for a bulkhead window. Anything special about this configuration that I should know about?
