Oddly, the croissants served ex-NRT and ex-HKG are memorable, even the cute little Japanese raisin Viagra roll. Weird shape for raisin bread, but tasty.
Ah, there we are.....

I want to eat bread and salad before the main, and I like to eat the main when it's hot.
That is not possible if it all comes together.
Anyway, this SD is just standing in the galley reading a magazine after I asked for a bag of chips and he said he'd get them.
The point of my original post was "bad service in violation of SOP", and I stand by that assessment.
Also departing SFO.

I do.
But, officially at least, that option is only available until meal service is complete for the rest of the cabin. So approx 1.5-2 hours after take-off.
Thankfully, most of the time, the crew is happy to accommodate my request and serve me everything at once sooner than that.

I had the square rolls for a while, but have had the long rectangles most recently. I just assumed they had reverted.
On one flight, the cabin was very sparsely occupied and they gave everyone both white and a brown.
(And then there's the last one, where they gave nobody any...)

Last month I had a flight from England to Toronto in Club Class on Air Transat which cost only $1170 one-way. They served a bubbly which they called Champagne. I didn't see the bottle - I doubt that it was the real thing - but it was quite respectable. My AC flight to Vancouver later this week would cost me over $2000 if I wasn't paying with points.

The salad is fine and unique, but I'm not a fan of the garlic aioli. If I could choose, I would opt for either of my favourites the Deconstructed Caesar or the Bocconcini-tomato salad.
The lasagna was just too salty.
Does the new chef have a close relationship with the salt shaker. As mentioned previously, we are all aware taste is different at altitude but I'm sure herbs and spices would do a better job than mounds of salt.

I actually like the lasagna. I do believe Air Canada's goal here is to kill off their SE MM members who eat this stuff far more often than I do. I'll die a happy man, with either an AC omelette or an AC lasagna in my belly.

This week the blueberries on the morning fruit tray were served to me full of white mold. I am not sure how the FA did not notice this, but promptly asked them to remove it. Too bad-it's generally the light snack I enjoy most in NA J.

If it's me I would take a picture and send it to AC and beyond. We are talking about food safety here.
Not too long ago I learned from the UA forum that it's a common practice to prepare Y food months in advance. Who knows what happens to J food.

I had mold on blueberries twice and both times were on a YWG-YYZ flight. I wrote in to AC the second time it happened.

Their goal should be to take care of that, after retirement. It's silly to do it while they are still earning status.
