This is a technical barrier to trade.

Someone mentioned about the A330/A340's as getting a refurbishment. Aren't these being phased out first and therefore do not need a refurb (not that they need it anyways!)??

I just want to notify people that I have NO connection with ac_777!!! I am quite disappointed at missing the YVR DO-- now it's going to be a LHR do-- but are there simulators in LHR for AC to use?

some of these planes will be around till 2010 so they need a referb! AC is still short a lot of planes to replace all the 767 and 330/340/345's they only have options on enough planes they have not cut orders.

and the candor. We can help each other a lot if it remains an open dialog

Sounds like a great do.. Sorry could not make it but I was in Anaheim for a couple of conferences last Sunday to Thursday evening and need to be back in Ottawa on Friday for some stuff related to a new client for the next two weeks so took a red eye home Thursday night rather than stopping in New York for a weekend or heading up to YVR for the DO...

Seems good that the dialogue is continuing and things are changing gradually. Need to fly to Europe in June so would check out options on AC on a paid ticket but a little tempted to look for an award ticket since I can do stopovers and open jaws that way...

Canadian certification will undoubtedly be faster given prior foreign certification - However, there are always differences in detail (and sometimes opinion). Good example is Swissair 111.

I think you mean Beirut?

Sorry I missed this in my note-taking, but during the second round of Q&A someone asked if AC could please post the seat maps for the new RJ's (both the 705's and the Brazillian ones) on AC.com, and I think it as George who said they thougth that could be arranged.

As posted today in the "CRJ705s arriving soon?" thread, the seat maps are now available. Fast service, AC! ^ ^ ^

763 is probably talking about the state of Beyrouth in general? Either that, or just trying to show off :)

Thank you Parnel and AC/AP. It sounds like yet another successful event has been put together.

Is there any more insight into the following? I'm not entirely sure what the description means.

Parnel makes a good point. The logistics to co-ordinate a large group of senior AC personnel, move them from Montreal to Vancouver is not easy.(on a Friday no less  ).Thanks to Ben and others at AC.
FT is the vehicle by which we all gather the info.Their importance to this event should not be underestimated.

Are the travel requirements like the US President and Vice-President and not allowed to travel together in case the aircraft would go down?
