Good to hear AC is heading towards a bright future. Someone said they did not want to reveal some future routes in this forum, but I was going though AC's website and found out what future routes they might probably include (maybe with their 777LR for YYZ and other airports.

Boy, how time flies. This is from the LGB stats page:

• Horizon initiated service on 10/6/02 with 3 daily flights, and discontinued service on 12/14/03
• Alaska Airlines began service on 12/15/03 with 3 daily commercial flights.

Believe me, some of us, including myself b*tched. It wasn't to a prove a point to some people here that we're "safe". At the same time though, to be fair to AC, our questions IMHO were tabled in an organized and thoughtful manner.
Heck, even with 30 mins left in the lunch period, Ben/Empress suggested that we use that extra time for even more questions! ^

Someone make sure greywolf doesn't fall asleep in the MLL! :D

As for YVR-TPE, I fondly remember travelling this route (YVR-TPE-HKG) on CP many times as a young kid. One time, just as the flight was passing over Tokyo, I was getting restless (not noisy, just restless), so the flight attendant came by to my seat and played me a tune on his recorder. I was put to sleep just like that. My parents never booked another flight on CX after that - that's just how good CP was.

But that's reminiscing best saved for another forum in another era...

The only pictures I saw taken were by 767-300, have to wait and see what he produces.

There were also pictures taken in front of the 340 SIM.

I was shocked you were sitting beside parnel.

Sounds like this was a really worthwhile event for both AC and their customers.

Anyone know if there are any of these events in London and would AC support one if it was organized (I guess thats me volunteering)?

With LHR being AC's key European destination there must be a few SE's, E's and P's "this side of the pond" who would attend and it never hurts a business to get face-to-face feedback from their key customers.

Just a thought......
