On my app based boarding pass is the following under Frequent Flyer: EMC

For some reason the app shows the internal tier code rather than the friendlier description. EMC is 50K 1MM with Core credit card.

I got a SIXF for my LAX - YYZ - BOS itinerary. Thought it was a fancier eight or ninth freedom flight but it is just your routine sixth freedom.

Weirdly, I was called to the check-in desk to collect my BP for this itinerary. I have not needed to do that for years for any US or Canada itineraries. Have to speculate it is because of this weird SIXF.

I had to visit the desk today because they had issued meal vouchers due to the catering issues.

I thought that AC couldn't sell such an itinerary?

They can if the layover is more than 4 hours.

Anyone know what "PC" is?

Got it today but only on one BP.

It does let us use face recognition to get into the MLL. Not sure what else? :-)

It only shows up on BPs for airports that support it. YYZ domestic will get it, YYZ TB will not, etc.

So presumably YYZ international won't?

Incidentally, I seem to remember that the thing says the information is only stored on the phone. So the scanner at the gate should connect to one's phone? Anyway, it seems slower than scanning a boarding pass..

Correct, YYZ INT also does not.

The data is only permanently stored on the phone, but it's uploaded to their servers for the day of travel, then deleted.

So that might be why a concierge I had never seen before greeted me at YUL the other day?

New code on my boarding pass, 'DBUS', showing only in the app next to remarks, not in the Apple wallet pass. What could that mean?

Saw that too recently. Maybe something along the lines of Digital Boarding Pass but not exactly sure.

"ACDI" is the new code for Air Canada Digital Identification.
