Companion passenger had "ACDI" written under remarks on a recent boarding pass. Do you know what it is?

Pure speculation, only because the letters fit, but I wonder if it has something to do with AC's Digital Identification system?

I also have ACDI today. I assumed the same.

The dreaded SSSS
Just checked in me & the missus for our YYC-YVR-OGG trip tomorrow. I got the dreaded SSSS on my YVR-OGG leg only.
Never had this in 40 yrs of flying. I have Nexus and we are on the same PNR. It says to see agent. I assume this means an agent in YVR during the YVR TB shuffle? Can the AC agent in YVR do anything or is this automatically a CBSA thing? :( |

You will need to get a boarding pass at the airport which is annoying, but other than that there's no major differences when you go through security. They might send you through the rotating body scanners rather than just the usual scanners, but that might be it. They will also look more closely at your bag in the x-ray machine but it will go through normally if there's nothing. When talking to a customs officer you may be subject to additional questioning. But again, SSSS does not mean that they will send you to the side room for questioning. SSSS doesn't mean you will get a pat down and that you will need to open your carry on bag. The note in the WIKI suggesting to wear a bathrobe for easier screening is a slight dramatic (and comedic) exaggeration. In reality you might not see the difference. |
I've actually had SSSS be faster. Almost like a concierge service with jumping the queue. You never know.

What does "remarks" mean on AC digital BP?
Saw this under remarks under my FF programme at the bottom of our boarding passes:
SIXF,STPA |
SIXF = Sixth Freedom Flight
STPA = Status Pass applied to your PNR |
