Well, too bad for you shore9, but I've been 0001 NUMEROUS of times. I guess I'm better than you are. :p

Had that on my YVR-YYJ boarding pass this weekend. Was able to check in off a connection departing many hours ahead of any western originating passengers.

Why do I have AC*A on my boarding pass for an Air Canada flight and AC*G for a United? I could not see what the AC*A means. BTW I have not been AC*G (assuming it means Air Canada Gold ) for 4 years, but it always seems to have this on the pass when I fly united. Couldn't find the answer in any thread...

Maybe AC*G means AC general member on United.

That's a reference to your FF plan that you have on the PNR.

AC = Air Canada
*A = No Status
*P = Prestige
*E = Elite
*SE= Super Elite

When flying a Star Alliance partner they will only recognize Star Silver/Gold status. UA should be recording AC*A on the boarding pass, clearly they don't update their database very often as they are still showing you as having Star Alliance Gold status (*G). If you were Star Alliance Silver it would show AC*S on UA (or other Star Alliance partners)

With ML*2 - were you on standby or did you receive an operational upgrade?

Are you flying economy and if so what is your boarding sequence number? If you are boarding in group one, then UA is still picking up your *G status. If your in groups 2 or 3 then it means *G status has not been picked up.

Always Zone 1 on United, so it is definitely being picked up. It will be a moot point after Friday as I will qualify for elite again :)

Thanks, that's very helpful, and I am happy that United have been slow on the uptake with all the recent scrums for overhead bins.

It wasn't me on ML*2.

Last few times I have flown LH, I could not help noticing that my BP no longer (or does not) state AC*G but AC*P.

Not sure what the P stands for, but it kind of looks like LH no longer recognizes status with other Star airlines?

LH still does recognize status with other *A members, however on some occasions the system needs an override by the check-in agent.

When LH does not recognize your status, the BP will say ACP, UAP, TGP, etc. where P just means "program".

I recently flew YHZ-YYT in J and it noted "LT04" in the remarks section. Anyone know what that's about, since there's no BOB in J?

Well, I got the dreaded "SSSS" code on all 3 segments of my boarding passes.

Thats happened to me, just get the last two reprinted and it comes off! unless you stay airside and then it does not matter!

Better SSSS through our ex 7-11 CATSA folks than the Paranoid and insecure TSA kind of people :D
