Should have known better than to go to the Aeroplan website. That will just make me more confused

Let's try ac.com . . .

BlondeBomber Jan 30, 2006 8:17 pm

Well I am still missing a piece here. Andrew's info is more up to date than Aeroplan of course. Nothing on ac.com to help . . .

BB - BGI and BDA should have been in post #1 only and not the second post. Have edited that. Thanks for catching that.

Thanks Andrew!

I have a question regarding the LHR option for U fare bookings. I note that Andrew has listed U as an upgradeable fare at time of booking with either SSWU or SWU. When I look at the certificates for '06 I don't see U as an option under "All Other Destinations" on either the SWU or SSWU.

Y, M, B and H are listed, but no U listed except for flights to US and Caribbean?

Thanks.

I haven't seen the new certs yet (!!!), but if this is true then I can see problems arising when you go to use your SWU for a U fare to the UK and the agent says you can't use a cert...

 Question:

Although V and Q fares earn 100% EQM and Actual flight miles with ErrorPlan, does this apply with Mileage Plus? They've credited me HALF of what I actually flew yet they qualified for 50% EQM TOO!!!!

If this is the case, I'm going back to ErrorPlan.

Can someone help me understand this?

Ladies and Gents, I'm a little too new with the KVS tool to understand why the following may have happended - when I looked at the load for this flight in particular, yesterday, Y,M,U,B,H, all showed 9, and yet today, they have all disappeared, down to 0 - any explanation for why this may have occured?
Cheers - and thanks for the help.

There are many possibilities, some of which I probably couldn't even guess... but it could be just as simple as thinking of real life situations that could happen... a LHR YYZ flight gets cancelled for whatever reason and many people get put on the LHR YUL flight before going YUL YYZ... who knows... but that was just one very hypothetical possibility.

This flight has been downgraded from a 333 to a 343. It looks like it has swapped planes with AC857 to YYZ which is leaving about the same time. As of two days ago Y was almost full while there were 30 J seats open.

I am on this flight as well and am hoping to upgrade so perhaps I will see you in J.

willflyforfood Mar 17, 2006 6:22 am

Thanks...

See you in the lounge...I'm an E on an L fare, so I won't count on an upgrade!
Cheers

So here is today's KVS snapshot - is this tool reliable? Still looks like a 333, but all of a sudden Y,M,U,B are back to wide open?
Cheers

As bobsyouruncle mentioned, that flight is currently scheduled to operate with a 343. Worldspan availability data is not always completely up-to-date.

Can anyone tell me whether UA "S" class fare is upgradeable (YYZ-DEN) at the gate on a codeshare on AC metal with a SWU or would I need a SSWU?

BlondeBomber Mar 23, 2006 10:39 am
