Empress - you need to add that one can make changes to TANGO tickets at the airport for $150 + fare difference

Done. Thanks for the reminder.

Btw, the info in the AC website link that you posted is wrong. It's $150 + tax; no fare difference will be collected.

I was hoping it was wrong. $150 and the fare difference makes me want to just buy the new fare outright...

I am thinking of booking JFK-YVR for my Dad in Executive (the direct flight) on AC metal, UA flight number, and the US fare class is "A" which I believe at US is a first class fare class.
Would my Dad get 100% + 25% COS for the Executive class seat; or, 100% + 50% First class bonus (UA "A" class)?

Thanks in advance

UA A is their discounted first class "F". You will get the points based on UA rules (I forgot if it was 25% or 50%).

UA "A" = AC "C" on an AC operated flight, it'll be 100% + 25%.

On the other hand, if you book AC "C" on an UA operated domestic flight, it'll be converted to a F booking class & you'll get 100% + 50% on your Aeroplan account.

As per AC website, Tango seat selection fee is now C$15.

Empress, can you add to your list that C does earn 25% COS Bonus on non-domestic/transborder flights if booked within a *A RTW ticket (and after sending in BP and Ticket Receipt to AP for adjustment) Source

Certainly; will do.

Empress,
If upgrading an M fare from YYZ-LRM, will I receive 100% instead of 75% of the status miles, but not COS - correct?

Ramteid Jan 14, 2005 11:29 am

Where's the booking class?

When using the new Destina (AC) booking site, where can I see what booking class I have been booked in? The old Destina site did give this info.

Can I stand by on a V fare if it is used in conjunction (on the same ticket) as an international flight ?

BlondeBomber Jan 28, 2005 5:00 am

"Note: B/H are upgradeable with Regular SWU if the flight is part of an international itinerary and you don't have a stop > 24 hours between your international & domestic flight which you are intending to upgrade."

I noticed the wording has disappeared from the 2005 SWUs. In 2004, it said that you could use them on B,H fares within Canada and Canada-USA right on the cert. The 2005s only say Y, M and U for these destinations.

I know the real reason why it is gone (there are no B and H fares within Canada/transborder any more but there were when the 2004 certs were printed. With the changed wording might we still have some difficulty with this with some agents--is there a CIC that covers the "part of an international itinerary"? The 2005 cert does say B and H are OK for "all other destinations" but I always get nervous when something that was explicitly there is now gone with no replacement language.
