It would better to call them "bookable as half round trip fares". They are combinable with each other and with some fare classes on other carriers. There is an occasional misunderstanding in this forum about whether you can get Q one way and H the other way, for example. |
And if you're not into drugs and too sexy for makeup, you can always stick a crayon up your knows, a la Homer Simpson.

Well, perhaps they should be called the "plausible deniability fares."
{Well, I may be an idiot, but I still think they should be called "plausible deniability fares."} - Maybe they framed the right guy. |
All of the above is not to say I don't appreciate the effort Andrew has put into maintaining this list. Clearly there's a lot of work there, and equally clearly he has the best interests of customers at heart.
But it's just another example of the best efforts of a dedicated and customer focused employee being overwhelmed by a corporate culture of nonchalance, disintererst, and conflicting policies and information, defended with the usual claim of "it's not our fault." |
Evidence removed to protect the innocent and/or guilty parties.

If you do something stupid, but nobody sees it, does that mean you're not really an idiot?
Or lumber? |

I plead drugs.
'Cause it's not as embarassing as stupidtiy. |
Did I miss something?

According to the Aeroplan web site (link: http://www.aeroplan.com/earn_miles/o...ner_details.do) flights on AC in C booking class to Europe (except for the UK), including the cities listed above, earn a 25% COS bonus, not a 50% COS bonus. That is exactly what I earned on C class, when I flew from Canada to CDG and back, earlier in the week. FlyerGoldII |
Special System-Wide Upgrades
Does anyone know if the above awards aare valid on 'A' class shares between Canda and the UK?
Thanks Joe |

Idiot needs help...
I need some help understanding the fare classes and seat availability on the AC website. AC 865 (LHR-YUL) on 25 OCT shows B9 H9 V9 Q9 L9 A9, yet on AC.COM, only Latitude and Executive fares are shown as available. Now is this because the window for booking a leisure fare is 7 or 14 days out? If that is so, what happens to those fare buckets that still show availability? And to those seats? Do they not sell them for anything but Latitude rates, even though the availability is wide open? Am I out to lunch or does this seem like crummy yield management - to have so many seats available at a clearly unsaleable price - ? Thanks in advance for explanations.
